How's the Steelheading? Ganny/Cobourg/Shelter Valley/Wilmot

Hi everyone,

 

Just curious to hear any information regarding Steelhead fishing on The Ganny, Cobourg Creek, Shelter Valley, Wilmot or Gages....anything happening?

 

Any info is greatly appreciated...

There have been some reports about the Ganny, people were fishing thru the ice near the big tree south of the train bridge on March 2 and 3rd when I passed on the train. Some fishers also fishing the open water towards the lake.

JUst curious if you have a car like the rest of us who drive there to check. Would imagine all creeks blown out now

I was their yesterday so people out, most fishing into the lake. Some told me they caught a few the day before but nothing at all fished for 3 hrs and then left. Guys were saying to come back in 2-3 weeks.

I was there a couple weeks back saw a few being caught both piers seemed to be the spot, but the ones I actually seen getting caught were up by the willows, hoping to get down this coming weekend. .tight lines my friends!!

Was there on Saturday and landed an 8lbs of steel. Fish seem to be sticking close to the concrete near the foot bridge
