  1. The only "green" water I have found so far this spring has been 8 miles East of I-Bay and in front of Hedges. Pretty bad when you can see bottom in 15+' Give it another week or two and we should start to see stained water and temp breaks. I'm across from you NB2 on B-dock.. Mark

  11. Chris; I have the older sport pilot plus unit on my boat. I have had to send it in every few years for repairs. lets hope they have beefed up the helm unit drive. I have not calibrated the unit yet this year, drive in circles for 1/2 hour. Still use it and holds reel well. Helm unit looks the same as mine. Mark

  17. Yes that was the day we launched the boat for the year. On the lake about 11 am. Spent a little time in the bay calibration the auto pilot and checking out everything else on the boat before we ventured out onto the lake. No cooler on the back of the boat yet. No reason to keep fish, IE LOC derby, Pro Am. Bruce does not have his boat in yet. Give me a shout when your out. Mark
  18. Erwin; I was not thinking that you would. I just wanted to make sure if anyone else reads this post and cleans a bilge with bleach that they do NOT dump it in the lake. I know from reading your post that you respect our fishery. Apology if taken the wrong way. Mark.

  21. salmonite; I also fished the same waters as you on the 18th. Watermelon of the riggers was a good spoon for us also. Had the otter boats going lines were set 100' and 150' back water was clear I could see bottom all day...black and silver sticks....black and gold sticks took fish nothing else was working off the boards... I was in the boat with the blue bimini top and two antennas did you see me out there? Mark
