What a differance a day makes...Went out to 350 and set up on a north troll. Fish and bait all over the place. Best picture was 500 FOW. Fish were comming 60 to 90 down on the riggers. A mix of steel and kings. Spin doctor and Abes Crusher fly on the wire was the hot ticket today taking most of the fish. A bit of an interesting note. Unlike yesterday we did not drop one fish. Largest King was 24+ pounds. Largest steel was 9 pounds. Best spoon was the yellow killer 15 off the ball 83 down. Good luck to those going out on sunday.

Friday August 17th, On the water @ O'dark thirty...ran out to 170 Fow and droped in on fish and bait...was a rough ride with the solid 4 footers out there..only way to keep down speed was to troll in a north west direction..made our way out to 450 fow and turned back towards good picture which was in the 300 to 350 fow. Temp was deep 80+ feet down. Now here the good part the number of fish we droped...total score REELJERKS 3... The FISH 14 First the wire's were going 225 to 325 out 2.5 setting White e-chip white fly and green doctor green fly..wires shut down and riggers started to go. Best spoon was the Stinger wonder bread 93 down 10 off the ball... Trolled back in....Good picture in 200 fow all the way to 170 Bait Bait and more Bait.... Be back out on saturday...[/b]

Clarke: Yehh that’s a big ten four... unless you have fished tournaments you really can’t explain the excitement and the rush it is to set the first rigger. I did not get much video of fish begin caught because I was busy doing many other task... Come on spring 2008!!!!

Skipper19: Great fish you have there...that bad bay is soooo big it's weight left net marks on the fish skin...I remember on year doing a double on BIG fall kings in front of the Genny river, 30 FOW and boats all around me. I'll tell ya what thats when I knew the auto pilot was the second best thing I ever put on the boat!!! Mark

Went fishing with my daughter & a friend of hers for a few hours and a swim in 250+ FOW. Surface temp was 71. Most fish came in the 100 to 150 FOW, 60 to 80 down but did take a few out in the 250 FOW. Best Spoon was the Stinger " Yellow Killer" and best wire set up was the Spin doctor lemon lime color and the Abes Crusher Fly, out 150 to 250 on a 2.5 setting. Ohh almost forgot location.....37 to 41 West....east west troll was best.

Last nine trips on the water I have had at least on large lamprey. I agree with tank some of the biggest I've seen in years.

Went from a 3rd place King to 14th by end of derby. Two Pro-Ams during the summer derby will do that to you. Mark

John; I saw you over there as I was running out to 150 Fow. I did not know who it was just another boat. I was wondering who it was?? I thought it might have been Gambler. Mark

Janet and I went out for the night bite after work. I was on the water @ 6pm and off @ 9:30. Shoot out to 150 FOW @ the 31 bar. Temp down 95' was 52. Fished 1 wire with a doctor/fly and 2 riggers. Took 2 nice Kings on the wire out 350' and 2 other kings off the port riggerdown 95'. Spoon that took all rigger fish to include the 1 brown was a Diamond King Glow w/ Red stripe on face edge. Picked that bad boy up @ Abes in Sodus over the Pro Am weekend. YESSSS I fished back to back Pro Am weekends and still went out on Monday night. One might say I like to fish.
