Gotta bite what items do you want on your flybridge? i am assuming that you want to be able to view sonar/gps from both locations? also what manufactures are the electronics.

torpedo wire both 7 and 19 strand. Added note simple,easy and very effective way to get around the wire kink issue that we have been doing for many years without any problems. After you fill your reel with your wire add a spro inline swivel like many use for copper then add 25' to 50' of 50lb flouro carbon . Problem solved you can work on the rods and store them without any problems or kinks!

b260 1000 k thru hull with fairing block best transducer on the market no matter what manufacturers unit its connected to .. better watch out out for cooked floaters in our wake lol also have a 600 watt bronze thru hull mounted on other side of hull- run it when when in tighter water both have chirp.

Once yu have created an account and updated your chip the info. stays on the chip. After the "free" year has past you will just not be able to "update" your card with the latest info but you will still have sonar charts on the card/plotter to use.

chas0218create an account with navtronics, then yu can update your card for free for 1 year. also this will activate the sonar chart function of your card which is 100x more detailed than what you are seeing now. Once card is installed in your ray unit you will also be able to select between "normal" gold chart option and the sonar chart. last note if you can do the upgrade thru navtronics for gold to platnium + on their website i highly recommend it.

White cupped spooks, mulatto and froggy down deep or low llight Gold,copper and glow cups also work. keep a roll of white electical tape on board and you can tape the inside cup of any pattern as needed

I like the wire for divers and such but done using it for down/speed temp.....not worth losing a probe.

Added note both days the waves where minimal 1' or less and no cross current at depth.

pete, nope still wondering how and why it happened. First season was fine no problems at all. nothing changed...same pound and same weight on the rigger, same blacks release etc.. nothing changed. Noticed a slight twist at the end of a trip, had a few viscous rips off that rigger so jut figured maybe the last salmon grabbed the lure from the side and maybe spun the rigger ball a little or something....didn't put alot of thought into it. I unspun the couple twist, checked the cable and figured all good.....well very next morning setting up the probe was reading funny so i pulled up the rigger and found a twister mess. cut about 30' of cable off retied and finished the day running the rigger without a lure just probe. Pulled the rigger at end of the trip and guess what twisted mess again. No clue what caused this.

yup had the same problem with it on our scotty;s last year. first season the cable was fine than last year it suddenly all twisted up.

PAtriot - yup the DEC is trying to create a balance between preadtor/prey. We just questioned the data they present and the balances they seem fitting. I agree that rather see numbers than size BUT changing the egg collection to a larger size,older,stronger fish would still provide numbers while increasing average overall size ....in theroy.
