  11. The purpose of an on board charger is that you can charge multiple battery from one charger and it stays on the boat all you do is unplug and store the wire and your good to go. It depends on how many bank charger you get and the amp output per battery I have a 2 bank on board that charges my two batteries at 10 amp each. I use the 2 batteries for the trolling motor up front and when I'm trolling with the down riggers. I have the 2 batteries hooked up in parallel (+ to + &- to -) this doubles my current output and keeps the voltage at 12 volts so I can run my riggers for days with out charging(but charge every night) .then I run the batteries in series(+ to _) to add up to 24 volts when using the electric motor in the front of the boat. How many riggers do you run?You might want to get another battery for your riggers and all the other stuff then get a switch that you can change the battey confeguration. I don't run one of these but a lot of guys here do.I run 3 battery and on the main battery i run the original boat stuff on that and everything else is on my other 2 batteries. They are easy to install and the cost is what you want to spend on one here is a page to look at http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/commo ... .jsp.form1 hope this helps

  14. I don't know how the maps will look but I just did an update on my new color Gps and it was easy just go to there site and copy to the sd then put it in the unit and power it up it down loads on turn on then you should be all set If you have problems call them before you install it so they are on the phone while you are doing it so you can ask questions that's what I did simple. The only problem I had was the wait to get a tech on the line it's best to call first thing in the morning. Hope this helps good luck let us know how you did.

  22. Eric save some of that for the river next spring  Just kidding nice buck. I have a buck at my house that is distroying all of my evergreen trees by rubbing all of the branchs off the middle of them. Good luck when you go out Sat.

  24. Once you got the wire out as far as you want it adjust the drag that is clicks every now and then. As far as the release goes I was on a freinds boat last spring and what he did is used a pinch pad tied around the base of his rod holder with enough wire or line from the release to the rod holder so he could clip the pads on the wire just after the reel so when a fish hit the pad would come off and you fight the fish. Great little set up I 'm going to use that set up this year also. As far as the drag goes set it so it's not real tight wire has no strech if the drag is to tight and the fish makes a last run it could break the wire.Good luck
