  2. Yankee did you guys ever pull the river trip off?
  3. Billy right on the $$ for the tape on the spool. Here is another way to put the wire on solo. You need a tennis ball, screw driver and a vise. put the screw driver thru the wire spool then put the screw driver thru the tennis ball then put the blade of the screw driver in the vise push the screw driver in the vise until you have good tension on the wire spool and your all set you can adjust the tension on the spool just by pushing in on letting out it works great.
  4. Great job everyone.

  13. Do you have a site for the web cam?
  14. Rays our mascot  We are very lucky we have him Right Ray Oh yeah welcome to the site final flight.
  15. Sharkbait you might want to read Keatings on kings it's a great book and it helped me alot to understand things I wasn't sure about
  16. Stinger you did great you added somethings I forgot to say. So I would say it worked out fine
  17. Set the blacks tight then use a rubber band wrap it around the line and put it in the blacks. I think it's a lot easier on my line instead of wrapping the line around the metal clip it self. I read it in Keating on kings book and it lets me crank down on my rods so I don't have a big bow in my line. It also lets me see smaller fish because they don't break the band and the rods bounces.
  18. Chris I would put a fuel/water filter in the back of the boat run your main fuel line in to the filter and you can tap the big motor and the kicker off the fuel filter and you should be all set. That's what I run and never had a problem. Here is one from bass pro shops if you look at the top you can see you can put more than one out put coming out I don't know if this one is good for you but it gives you an idea what I'm talking about. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/store ... rchResults
  19. I agree with Legacy I use blacks with rubber bands and I also use bands for mup rigs
  20. Chad as long as Ray isn't in it  That would be fine by me I don't think you should make a thong in a XXXL size I would hate to see ray in one in wilson this spring :!:
  21. Ray you never told us you were cloned This explains a lot  Welcome to the site
  22. So your saying you liked what you saw?? and what did you end up buying for GPS units?
  23. YT Your right I know it does but it's another $200 on top of the $150 spent on the 2007 chip so I trying to be CHEAP but it looks like I won't be able to  How was the chip did it show good details of the bottom or what? Is it somethiong that you would buy if you were looking for a map?
  24. Thanks billy I havn't got one yet but am looking at the 5200 from lowrance for about $450 I already have the hot map 2007 but like I have said the chip doesn't show the whole lake so I'm looking at the oak area to see if the 2007 chip covers that area
  25. Has any one used the NauticPath USA map for lake Ontario? And if so does it have bottom depth readings out to the middle of the lake (beyond 5 to 10 mile) or just inside 5 miles. I would also like to here what type of maps you use for the Oaks area. I am looking at the gold X14g map from Navionics but I also have the hot map 2008 that covers a lot of the eastern basin But I don't know if it covers the Oak area I know it doesn't go to the bar so I'm just wondering what everyone uses. Sorry if this is confusing  I'm trying to save me some cash on buying all the maps I need If my hot map covers most of the area then I don't have to spend $200 bucks on a map just for the bar area. Thank in advance
