Wow was he lucky you guys were there. Great work saving the man's life! The south end is full of debris - be careful out there.

Thanks for all the PM's and text messages about boats to look at. I really appreciate the leads. Keep 'em coming!
-
I'll be looking for something like a Starcraft Fishmaster or a Lund Tyee. If anyone sees one for sale please let me know. I don't wanna be without a boat for too long!

Boat is SOLD

Just wanted to let you know - in case you didn't see it - that the Tweets section of the forum is back up and running again!
-
Good luck on the sale Stan. I'm curious which model Crestliner that is?
-
Couple more guys coming to see it this week.
-
Thanks Chad. Spring is right around the corner. Come see it now if you're interested.
-
The first warm up before spring is coming this week. Come see the boat while it's warm(er).
-
Splash down in about 50 days. Come see it before its gone!

I'm looking at several options - Lund Tyee, Starcraft FishMaster, and Hewescraft among them. I really just want to get back into fishing for fun again - and for us that means trout, salmon, walleye, bass, etc. We want to be able to trailer to wherever the fishing is good and spend time on the water with my kids.

Another flurry of guys coming to see it last week. Don't think it'll last until spring. Come see it soon if you're interested!

No trailer.

I will definitely be sad to see her go but it's time to spend my weekends fishing with my kids and we'd like to be able to head to wherever the fishing is hot instead of being locked down on our lake here. I should add that we had the stringers professionally re done a couple of years ago and she is solid as can be. We had some good times on her in Wilson didn't we G Daddy??

It's a 1990.

It's time to sell my Penn Yan and downsize. I'm going to sell it fully loaded with the following equipment. This is a serious fishing machine and needs absolutely nothing. Three Humminbird 1198 head units mounted on the hard top. They are connected via Ethernet so you can display any info on any unit – sonar, radar, gps, coast pilot, etc. All are new within the last 24 mos. Thru-hull 600w 50/200kHz transducer Humminbird 4kW radar new last year Depth Raider new in 2013 Three Cannon DT10 TS riggers (The white tournament series). All new within the last 24 mos Cannon dual axis rod holders mounted under the riggers Stainless steel mounting bases Stainless steel swivel bases 3 Cannon dual axis rod holders mounted on tracks on each side of the gunnels 8 rod rocket launcher Spreader light Planer reels, pulleys, & releases Raymarine ST6002 Auto pilot Technics AM/FM/CD/MP3 player Humminbird VHF radio Recessed net holders Blue LED lights under each gunnel Impellers were new two years ago on both engines. I replaced the lower water pump on the starboard engine last summer and have a spare pump in case the port side ever needs service. Engines get oil changes every 50 hours. It has twin 350’s in it with about 2,000 hours on each engine. They compression tested great last summer and pull really hard. We buff and wax the hull every fall when it goes in the barn, then we buff and wax the entire boat once it comes out. It shines like a new boat as it sits in the barn right now. It’s located near my house here in Ithaca and you can see it with a few days notice. $39,900 Email me at [email protected] or call me at 607-592-9012.

I'll be sticking it out on Cayuga too. While I believe that the fishing could be a whole lot better (as in viable populations of browns, rainbows, and Atlantics) and that the lampreys are a huge problem, we managed more than our fair share of fish each trip out and had happy clients - thank God for Lakers. I've fished the tributaries locally here a couple of times this fall and have been very disappointed with the utter lack of fish. Hopefully DEC gets it right with the lamprey treatment next year. Ive spoken to them multiple times about this and they are fully aware of the issue. My concern is that no one on the Region 7 staff seems to be a fisherman. They're fish biologists and appear to have a hard time understanding the ecosystem from our point of view.

Tiny bits of fleas on the wires today. Nothing on my riggers. Watch for floating debris. We almost hit a submerged piece of a dock on the way back in.

Gobies are here in Cayuga Lake - 100% for sure.

But it's not a points event Nick. It's a weight event and heavy beats light every time. But then again I'd put my money on my boys in any type of format here - they play to win no matter the format. Thanks apb! Our heavy laker was 10.4 lbs on Barney's scale. It was a toad! Sorry that the boys and I couldn't make weigh-in. We had to cut our day short so that they could get to a baseball game in Lansing shortly after noon. Congratulations to all the boats that placed today. Cayuga lake didn't make it easy.
