  1. Way to go Jax! What a beautiful day. Congrats on the browns. Any size to them? Any pictures to share with us? I thought about the lake as I was sitting in my deer stand this morning... I got my boat "fix" on Friday. Jay & I went up to FH and worked on the boat for a few hours. We got the rocket launcher back on the boat, and did a few small jobs that needed doing...re-wiring the nav lights, etc. Today after hunting I re-filled my 600' copper rig with fresh copper and got my wire rods all fixed up with twilli tips. That kept me busy for a bit!
  2. Awesome Deer Ryan!! And it looks like it has a double throat patch...very cool! Congrats!!

  4. I emailed him and sent him a link to the listing already!
  5. It could take months to sell your boat...it all depends on the condition of the boat & what you're asking for it. Try the sites I mentioned above. Plus you can look into sites like yachtworld or boattraderonline.
  6. Where is the boat located? If it's not too far from Fair Haven I'll take some with my camera and post them for you. Digital pics are probably the best way to help sell your boat.
  7. Scott, I got a lot of traffic on my listing when I sold my last boat over at http://www.glangler.com/boatsforsale.html. It's $70 to list it, but it gets lots of traffic. You can try some of the other sites like Spoonpullers, Great Lakes Fisherman, Educated Angler, and Sanders Fishing Guides for free listings. You should DEFINITELY add as many pictures as you can to all of your listings. That'll help you sell the boat a LOT faster.
  8. I just got the rack back from being scored...121 5/8".
  9. Got any pics of your new used boat for us?????
  10. Lime Away toliet bowl cleaner works well (and it's fast!!!) too.
  11. Another great deer! Backstraps...YUM!! Congrats!!!
  12. Awesome deer! Congrats!!!!
  13. It's the 120 Antenna, and the only markings on the chip that I can find are that its from Navionics and there's a code number. It definitely covers Lake Ontario.
  14. Rod, I'll check the antenna and the map when I get home. Yes, it's still for sale. Bill
  15. I've owned both a Fish Hawk and a Depth Raider (and a Moor too!). I currently run the DR. Like John said, there's really no comparison. The DR is the way to go for the reasons he listed. I've never run the Cannon, but Erbyjoe and Maniac both own one and they seem to like it.
  16. There are three arrows in the quiver on the first picture too...must be blocked by the camera angle.
  17. Thank God I'm married to a Saint who totally gets my outdoors addictions. And you're right Erin, if Yankee and I lived closer together it would be an outdoors free-for-all!
  18. When we went to drag this deer out this morning, we actually bounced one that's a lot bigger! So now I have something to look forward to for gun season.
  19. It's such a HUGE adrenaline rush! Good luck with finding a bigger one, the one you got a week or so ago is pretty darn nice!
  20. Had this big boy came under my stand last night. This is my biggest buck with a bow, so I'm pretty pumped today!
  21. This is a great unit and comes with the GPS antenna and cord, the power cord, mounting bracket, plastic screen cover, Navionics cartography chip, and the owners manual. Just hook it up and go. The new color Ray GPS that replaced this one goes for $850.
  22. Just this morning.....
  23. Way to go bro!
  24. The 345 GTi is about the only real choice for 600' of 45# copper. Gear ratio stinks, but it's a bomber reel. 300 yards of 50# power pro backing is what we put on ours. I'm told that the Shimano 800 won't hold all that line and backer. I've been talking with the Daiwa rep and there's some discussion of a high capacity level wind with a line counter possibly coming from the saltwater line over the winter. It would be based off of one of the Saltist reels.... It's still in the discussion stages though. Gear ratio would be in the 4.9:1 range...anyone else think that's a good sounding combo????
