I think Eric is at the Bar thru Wed. or Thurs. of this week. I got a phone message from him today and they boated a big 27lb king this morning! Hope he has pictures!! He said that it's been getting better and better every day. On Sunday he told me that they had hooked up 26 or 27 times that morning and had boated several Kings in the 18-20 lb range. Sounds like those of you who will be out that way this Memorial Day weekend will be in for some good fishing.
I have 6 lexan Pursuit rod holders that I'm not going to use. These came on my new boat, but I've replaced them with the Traxstech (formerly Pursuit) aluminum rod holders. These will fit into either a Traxstech (Pursuit) or Bert's track. These holders are in very good condition. They retail for $39.99 ea. at Cabela's. I'll let them go for $25 each. I'd prefer to sell them all together, but will break them up if a serious buyer comes forward and only wants a few of them. Buyer to either pick them up locally or pay all shipping costs. PM me here or email me at [email protected] if you're interested.
That new derby leader of 24.02lbs was caught by Unkeljim of this board...way to go Jim!! And way to go Fish Doctor...can he possibly win two LOC's in a row?!?!? INCREDIBLE.
Check the report Poverty Stricken II just posted about Fair Haven yesterday. Get on the water before first light. There are still lots of fish to be had from the inside waters. Best of luck.
Glad to see you guys had a good experience out of Fair Haven and I'm happy to help. Nice to see that the fish are still cooperating! Thanks for the report.
This is a Die Hard (Stinger version): I like to run the NK version.
Probably one of the two or three top producing patterns on the Eastern end of Lake Ontario.
The Monkey Puke pattern I was refering to is the orangish one:
Dude, there's never been any bait & switch! That spoon catches fish. And I hardly run the spoon any more....   I have too many fun new color combos to try!!
I just got off the phone with a guy who has been fishing out of Sandy the past few days, and I hear that there are some chromers up high in the water column out over 100-150 FOW. Might be worth a shot. Definitely sounds spotty at best though.
