  1. YT, where have you been bro? We've all voted on the new format! Yeah, the time stamp is right....2:45am...can't sleep....
  2. ...But we loved having you Dave!
  3. Ace, I talked to Ed at Shark last night and the black sharks have been discontinued. Better hang onto those! I'll be spraypainting a couple black next season and keeping a couple chromed.
  4. Thanks Hank. I use 47's and really watch the drags too. We set 'em so they click a bit. I'll give some 40# fluoro a try next season. Good info, thanks again! Bill
  5. Hank, Do you run a mono leader or fluorocarbon? We run snubbers but only becasue it's what we've always done. I like your point about minimizing drag and having less stuff to break. If I can get away with no snubber on Fluorocarbon I might give it a try. Thanks!
  6. I really don't think it's global warming. I think this warm trend so far this winter is due to El Nino. At least that's what our meteorological guru over at the ski hill is telling us. Whatever it is, it's KILLING the ski industry all over the East coast. And I agree with Stix, we need some snow for a good melt to help the brown trout fishery in the spring. Just my $02.
  7. I sure hope so MuskyBob. I sure hope so.
  8. RR, You should get out there...we're open and skiing, albeit thin coverage on only 3 trails. When you finally decide to come out, let me know and I'll try to make a few runs with you in between my ski school duties! Bill
  9. I'm wondering what you guys think the effect (if any) this warm fall & winter will have on the fishery in the coming years. I can tell you that it's just about killed the ski industry in the East! Ugh!! Anyone have a theory to share? Bill
  10. I have an email in to Fish Doc. Thanks Jeff.
  11. I've been searching for 600' of 45#, but have only been able to find the 45# in 300' lengths. Does anyone have a source for 600' of the 45#? Thanks! Bill
  12. Cool. They look really neat. I'll definitely keep them at the top of the list. Thanks Steve. Bill
  13. Are you guys using the Bert's Ratchet Gear System rod holders or the older style rod holders? I've been looking at both Bert's and Pursuit track systems, and I like what I've read about the Bert's ratchet system, but haven't seen or used them personally. Thanks guys. Bill
  14. I'm glad to see unified rules, even if I happen to disagree with the open communication rule. Did I also see somewhere that all the events are Sat-Sun this year?
  15. I've run the Sharks before and had good luck with them. I demo'd a pair last year for a while and liked them. I'll be adding two 15# Sharks to my set-up this year.
  16. Happy New Year guys. I hope '07 brings you nothing but the best.
  17. Ha Ha!! Even funnier!!
  18. Ha! Funny!!
  19. Same thing happened here at my house a few years ago, and she's STILL telling me to keep my fishing gear off of it!
  20. Very well put Dick. Those are are very valid suggestions and I hope they take them into serious consideration.
  21. You're KILLING me Mike! Did she at least like the dining room set??
  22. I agree with everybody else....closed communication. You either have it that day or you don't.
  23. We do the same thing as Evil-I. My crew actually suggested it and felt like it was a fair way to help the boat owner (me) with maintenance costs.
  24. Keating's book was under my tree yesterday. Good reading so far!
