  2. I think sometimes you guys just over think these fish. Our A-TOM-MIK Torpedos are lead colored. Some may have a little black paint on top, but the bottom is lead. As for DDs some of the top guys on the lake are running bright colored ones. For the longest time my favorite was Metallic Purple. Now a days you'll usually see a black one, and a colored one rigged up on our ride.
  3. Dreamweaver Lures new Catalog - The new stuff for 2015 is now available! Everything looks so yummy! http://t.co/gvYqiL8GjG

  6. Pants or panties? Scott - if there are enough people interested by all means we can run as many as you want. I have no issues running a $250 and a $100 for the Pro division.

  8. You really need to start fishing for the tourney win and not just 1 big fish bud! Yes, we will have a big fish award.
  9. Earlier in 2014 we told you about the dates for our second Oak Orchard Open. June 12th-14th We are going with the same format that was a huge success in our inaugural event. 5 Salmon/5 Trout (no more than 3 of your Trout can be Lake Trout). Big Fish Friday - $100 Oak Orchard Open - $400 Calcutta - $250 For the guys with gambling problems (kidding) we are adding 1 more way to win a little money. If we can get groups of 8 teams we can run brackets over the three days of fishing. This format puts you up against just 1 boat. If you beat that 1 boat you move on. Round one will be a hat draw for position. If there are enough teams we can run a "Pro" and an "Am" bracket. "Pro" buy in will be $250. I am up for suggestions on the "Am" side. Below is an example of the brackets. Prize money is split 50% for 1st, 35% for 2nd, and 15% goes to the team who gives the biggest beat down. This will be the biggest difference in scores in any match throughout the bracket. Our biggest complaint last year was prize structure. It was a top loaded structure. This will be our biggest, and most likely only, change in 2015. We will spread the money out more. With that being said once we are ready to start collecting entries I will get that info up on here for the teams. In the mean time please let us know what amount the "Am" teams would like to use to buy into the bracket.
  10. Hey Chase, are ya working on any WHI stuff yet?

  12. Narbys, Captains Cove, and the Marina
  13. No webpage, but results and standings are shared on here as well as Facebook under both the Oak Orchard Tournaments group, and Oak Orchard Open page. Rules are simple: Sign up before tourney day Weigh in your 3 largest fish caught that day by 3pm at Lake Breeze Marina You have to leave from and return to Oak Orchard on the day of the event All NYS DEC rules and regulations apply If you want to fish for the King of the Oak cup you need to fish all 4 events.
  14. No rules stating a number of teammates. Considering it's a 3 fish tourney I guess you could fish it solo.
  15. Couldn't pass up the beautiful weather. Grabbed a boat and headed out on Lady O. Six rods on mini inlines, and 2 on downriggers pulling spoons. Best sticks were black and silver. Enjoy the P**N! Numbers were stupid, and the class seems to be nice that is waiting for us come April! 14lb'r
  16. Watched it yesterday! This ought to make the Winter go by a little faster. We'll see it later this month from what I've been told.
  17. That's every 2 years Matt. I think we did that this past January, so regular meeting this January.
  18. You're losing cone angle going to a 1000kw ducer. It's not needed for what we do, and you'll miss half of the fish/bait.
  19. We're splashing in 101 days! The countdown started when she was pulled....
  20. Exactly! We have been running Shimano Clarus 9' ML action rods for 4 seasons now. Great rod! I'm not sure they make them anymore. Wasn't able to find them on their website. Daiwa makes a similar rod I'd like to get my hands on; http://www.daiwa.com/rod/detail.aspx?id=649 Their - DXS902MLFB
  21. I mean......if the shoe fits.......
  22. I know we had some good Salmon footage on Friday practice. Saturday not so much for targets, but we did grab some BT and Steel on camera. I'm probably a goof on camera. I've never been filmed before. It's amazing how you get a loss for words.
