  1. Hell froze over this past Winter! Also, if the state is going to put in another 300,000 Lakers I feel I need to do my part to take 300,000 more LT's out of the lake to make sure there are Alewives for my fellow Salmon!
  2. I swear Brian! I got to go head to head with Walter P on the riggers. I learned a lot in two days of Lake Trout fishing on how to get bigger Lake Trout without having to sort through the small ones. We actually might turn Lake Trout fishing into a game, and battle each other on the riggers for fun!
  3. I'd say it was one of the funnest tourneys we've ever fished. Believe it or not we looked more forward to going farming than we did King fishing! Can you believe that?
  4. They really are very easy to tighten up. I too wish that bolt was more easily accessible, but in less then 5 minutes you can have it all tightened back up.
  5. Thanks guys! That event was FUN! The format was really cool, and to be honest the Lake Trout fishing was the most fun! I know I'm gonna take a lot of heat for that. We battled each other on the corner out and downs. I didn't realize the fishing was that tough. We had no issues getting our bites, and we figured with all the great fishermen out there that they were getting bit too. We were shocked after hitting the scales.
  6. Nick's a good dude! Fishing with his mother is really cool! Glad you had fun bro observing. Let's win the Sandy Creek Shootout now!
  7. Our team took 1st place at the first annual Oak Orchard Open! http://t.co/9yShqywNRv

  9. Great price on that 8 series!
  10. We're back at the Oak! Couple more tourneys, and then it's back to business! http://t.co/2OB5ygxWaR

  11. Matt Yablonski signed up this past weekend, and his name was left off the spreadsheet. I caught it after this post when I was doing boat pairings. So, 37 teams it is!
  12. 36 teams Brian. We'll be there obviously! I will get a list of participants out in the next day or so.
  13. > Friday June 6th the Captains Meeting will be held at the Black North at 6pm > 4C's Cafe will be open at 4am with breakfast sandwiches each day of the event. They are a tourney sponsor. Please support all sponsors for this event to ensure they return next year. > We took entries for 36 teams in our inaugural event. Stay tuned for more announcements!
  14. We've paid $100/day on 1 day events, and $75/day on 2 day events for years. It's the going rate. When the other teams observer is on board we tell them we pay our guy $250 just to start crap and have them go back looking for a raise. Cheap Cheap.....Cheap Cheap.....
  15. I wish i had some extra $ laying around! This boat is what my brother and I are looking for. Great layout! Good luck selling her.
  16. You DO NOT need a 1kw transducer. Even though they are making wide angle versions now, they still cant compete with a 600kw ducer in beam angle. Not to mention the $ really goes up when looking at a 1kw ducer. The B60 is nice if you have to trailer your boat, but the guys at Airmar will tell you that if you can go with a thru-hull ducer that utilizes a fairing block. You'll just get a better picture. Thru-hull is a great option, and in theory will show you a little better picture on plane.
  17. Nice breeze putting a ripple on the surface this morning. Straight out front in 200, and the water is 46 on top.

  18. 4th place in both the Classic and Trophy division at the Niagara Pro Am. http://t.co/mlDwsnXPJP

  19. 1'roll from the west. 48* on top. Shower bite this morning, but they are coming!
