  1. > Friday June 6th the Captains Meeting will be held at the Black North at 6pm > 4C's Cafe will be open at 4am with breakfast sandwiches each day of the event. They are a tourney sponsor. Please support all sponsors for this event to ensure they return next year. > We took entries for 36 teams in our inaugural event. Stay tuned for more announcements!
  2. We've paid $100/day on 1 day events, and $75/day on 2 day events for years. It's the going rate. When the other teams observer is on board we tell them we pay our guy $250 just to start crap and have them go back looking for a raise. Cheap Cheap.....Cheap Cheap.....
  3. I wish i had some extra $ laying around! This boat is what my brother and I are looking for. Great layout! Good luck selling her.
  4. You DO NOT need a 1kw transducer. Even though they are making wide angle versions now, they still cant compete with a 600kw ducer in beam angle. Not to mention the $ really goes up when looking at a 1kw ducer. The B60 is nice if you have to trailer your boat, but the guys at Airmar will tell you that if you can go with a thru-hull ducer that utilizes a fairing block. You'll just get a better picture. Thru-hull is a great option, and in theory will show you a little better picture on plane.
  5. Nice breeze putting a ripple on the surface this morning. Straight out front in 200, and the water is 46 on top.

  20. I agree with you Vince, but given the harsh Winter let's make sure we go through the Summer and make sure the bait is still there. The last two years the bait has been insane. I just don't want to ever see us get to what MI got to with low forage bases, and unhealthy fish. Not to mention IF they increase it for a few years are we gonna b**ch when they lower it back down to the levels we're at now when the forage base reaches lower levels? Not buying bud! Hahahahaha You know you want more Lakers! That was probably a pen fish released recently. The Genny has a Chinook and Steelhead pen program.
