  1. We've been running the new Cannons for 3 seasons now, and we've had 2 swivel bases crack on us. The first one cracked when my brother used is impact wrench to tighten the screw that held it down. Obviously, his fault. The other one cracked because our pull rope to our 48" trolling bag was around it. Again, our fault. If your truly worried about it they do make Stainless Steel bases and swivel bases. FYI....I did notice they have changed the swivel bases recently, and they look great!
  2. Music that turns triples!
  3. North Shore out of Bluffers fishing the Tightline Event. Spring of 2013 on the Bar.
  4. I'll add my $.02. We've run McCoy Flouro 100 since it came out 6yrs or so ago. It's great stuff! It's produced here in the states. The guys who run the company are great guys. If we know were running spoons we use their 15lb. If we are running paddles we run their 20lb. Moisten your knots well, and there are no issues.
  5. Not needed, but it will help reduce resistance.
  6. Tricked out black Cannon DT10 downrigger covered into a Tournament Series with chrome parts. #custom… http://t.co/M3rsHETBwo

  7. They did warranty it. No questions asked. Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Go ahead and run the 20lb. Just leader down to 6-12lb flouro depending on water clarity. 6-12' of it should be sufficient. Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Give Kevin Jerge a call. I watched him install one this weekend. 716-863-1001
  10. We use Ande 50lb Flouro. Seaguar and Gamma Flouro have worked well in the past also.
  11. Cannon Dual Axis are great holders, but I do miss the adjust-ability of my Cisco's. That being said we did bend one, and break one Cisco over the 3 years we ran them. I have yet to damage a Cannon Dual Axis beyond repair. Cannon built pieces into their Dual Axis that will break before the rod holder becomes damaged.
  12. I'll vouch for Tony too. He's done some good work for me in the past. Great guy!
  13. I think 8 is recommended. We went 4 gauge from the battery to the fuse block in the back of our boat, and then 6 gauge from the fuse block to each rigger. Is it overkill? Maybe, but I know i am not starving the riggers for power. Bigger wire never hurt anything, but smaller wires can.
  14. WOW Bro! I'm Pro-Staff and I only have access to the DigiTroll 10's! You must be some kind of special! 10 gauge wire might be a little small for those also. I'd recommend going to 6 gauge.
  15. Hot rigger today was our 65' rigger pulling a Mupped up Sea Sick Waddler. Just pinched myself. There is still a while before that happens!
