Our big guy @ the Sandy Creek Shootout 2012
Yankee Troller replied to Yankee Troller's topic in Fishing Videos
Thanks guys! Good point! Well, what else are ya gonna do when a dude is bringing in some copper? LOL We love it Brian! We actually went and test drove an 11 Meter this Fall, but the guy wouldn't come down. It's still for sale, so we'll see. Although it's a nice platform to fish off of, as you know she aint a cheap boat to run! -
Here is my first attempt at editing some GoPro video. Grabbed this from this years Sandy Creek Shoot Out. It was our 29lb'r.

Hey Rick why don't you try and trade yours for his? Lol. I'd rather be greedy and own them both! You'd never catch me off the water then! [ Post made via Android ] -

Me too! -
Anyone ever tried these things out? They look like a nice replacement to traditional "tip-downs." Might even work good for Lake Trout or Walleye. Jaw Jacker

Those look cool Nick. If you ever want a partner give me a shout!

We snapped one of our Cisco's, and they did take care of it pretty well. We used to store an extended net in one, and I think that over-time bent and broke the arm just below the rod holder. Other than that they are great holders. I loved the unmatched adjustability of them.

where do the browns go after running rivers?
Yankee Troller replied to sufan22886's topic in Open Lake Discussion
February 5th, 2012 we smoked them on the Lake, so I would imagine if you wanted to get out there you could get them. -
I'll attest to that. They did a Penn 345 for us this Summer (Bad Pawl and Worm Gear). They also do a lot of Tekota drag upgrades with Tuna Toms Dragmasters.

All I'm saying is I don't care if we place 45th this year as long as Jason is 46th or worse! -
I agree with you Brian, but I also heard it was due to the lack of LT stockings in recent years. I think we lost all of our LTs for this upcoming year from a storm last year in VT? I think his intentions were to protect the species, although if that was the case he'd get rid of the Spring and summer too. I know Jim Piano is loving these rumors!

Pro-Am Tournaments in 2013
Yankee Troller replied to Finders Keepers's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
Let's be honest....is there even a committee right now? What would be wise is to take two Pro Captains and two Amateur Captains, maybe one of each from the West and East, to head up a revitalized Pro/Am Committee! If no one is moving forward on the current series, and we all want to fish this style of event, lets just do it! Are you volunteering Rick? I don't have a problem helping! I help with the pen project in Rochester, I help with the WHI, so why not the Pro Ams! However, if they want to be narrow minded and not listen to the people or the committee members then whats the point? -
First off Dan this isn't Lake Erie United! LOL When we had the actual depth on our Intelli-Troll it was a nice tool. Sometimes, you were blown away by the difference. Other times it was minimal. Lots of currents in Lady O, so another useful tool in your toolbox can't hurt.
