  1. We tried to make it three in a row for this event (we've won the last two), but when you're fishing against the best teams Lake Ontario has to offer that's a tough thing to accomplish. Fridays Condor event, which was also the first leg of the King of the Oak (KOTO) series, was tough for us. We just didn't put anything together. We fished from 150' out to the 29N line with only some small fish to show for. The screen never really looked good aynwhere. We did find a nice break on the 27N line, but we didn't pull much of any size off it. Saturday, we choose to just go fishing, and it paid off. We got our 5 Salmon by 10:30, it took us 45 minutes to get 3 Lake Trout over 12lbs, but the last two Steelhead we just couldn't find to finish off our tournament box. We ended in 4th place on day 1, and that's where we'd finish because of the blow off day on day 2. 3 out of our 5 salmon came on divers out 225-250', one came on a 600 copper, and the 5th was on a rigger down 110'. 4 out of 5 were on Familiar Bite with the 5th taking a Carbon 14. Our LT came on Hammerhead Lake Trolls. We stopped in 3 different spots looking for some chrome, but apparently we didn't go far enough North or West. Congrats to the teams above us, and thank you to all the teams who came out and fished the event.
  2. I normally would, but he tried to ruin my name last summer over his jealousy. I've kept my mouth shut, but when he called me out as the captain who told him he wasn't allowed to fish our events I had enough. Sent from my XT1575 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Day 1 results at the Oak Orchard Open. https://t.co/ZPzDQKRXUQ

  4. There's a reason your not allowed in my tournaments. It has nothing to do with any egos. Don't act innocent. Let's talk about the lies you made up, and innocent souls you dragged into your lie last summer! So trashy! Just because you wanted to beat team Yankee. Must suck having lost everything because of your terrible life decisions. Why Richie even puts up with your shenanigans is beyond me. Have fun being the black sheep in your port. It's got to be a ton of fun having no friends on the water. Sent from my XT1575 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Reminder tomorrow's Condor event (KOTO1) you're only allowed to weigh 1 LT.

  11. Yea, they are a tough fish, but when YOU catch the same one 30 times over the course of a Winter it takes its toll on them!
  12. Head unit has about 600hrs on it. Transducer has less than 20hrs on it. Comes with everything. $800 pick up between Sodus and the Oak. http://www.humminbird.com/Products/1198c-SI-Combo/
  13. I have a Humminbird 1198 available for $800.
  14. That fish was fresh out of a river. The tail was bleeding on the deck.
  15. I'd say it's safe to say we've caught a few fish this year, and here's what I'm seeing. I'm always checking stomach contents because I clean fish on my boat. Mature Salmon will have 0-7 adult Alewife in their stomachs. I haven't seen any pics on social media where a Salmon looked unhealthy. A lot of 20+ salmon have been caught this Spring. Especially, in Canada where a 31 and a 29 have been taken. BUT This is what I'm seeing in the Lake Trout we're catching! 10-20+ Alewife in every stomach I check. All year classes as well. So, I'd like to know why just the "Salmon" are the problem? Sent from my XT1575 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. June 4th - Morning What a tough day! We covered a lot of water and burned a lot of gas to get the fish we had. We fished from 20′ out to 200′. Lake Trout saved the day for us, and we took some studs! Nice to see a few Steelhead showing up as well. Dreamweaver Blue Bubble was our best spoon for the Steelhead, and Hammerhead Lake Trolls took our Lake Trout. These guys from Pittsburgh enjoyed a nice day on the water with great weather. June 4th - Afternoon A little better tonight. We had a mix of silver fish (Steelhead and small Salmon) and some good Lake Trout action. Dreamweaver Blue Bubble and Blue Lagoon were our best spoons in the Super Slim size. Hammerhead Lake Trolls took our Lake Trout. June 5th We got a nice start on a foggy morning. Surface temps dropped 13 degrees overnight, and a slight roll from the NE was left over. We hit a nice 20lb Salmon on a Dreamweaver Sea Sick Waddler fished off our Cannon DT10s, and lost another on a Carbon 14 on a 100′ diver. A Northern King C5 5 of Diamonds took a nice Steelhead on a short Stealth Core as well. Once the sun came out the bite died. We headed to Lake Trout land and went ½ on them before the 30mph+ gusts of wind kicked up.
  17. Familiar Bite just started shipping last week. Had trouble getting bait this Spring. Most shops should have it soon.
  18. West! From Rochester to Wilson.
  19. Not an easy task to run a new cable from the helm to the back of my boat, but I think I'll give it a whirl. Thanks bud.
  20. A new cable from the head unit to the antenna? You think the Radio Shack one might be better quality?
