  1. I might have one out there already! Who knows!
  2. Nice job grumpy! We need more people taking kids fishing!
  3. Look into the Helix 5 or 7 from Humminbird. If you have any specific questions I can help. Also, I have a post on here for settings for them that will make it do what you want for trolling.
  4. The last event will be held SUNDAY September 6th. I've heard it may say Saturday September 6th on the sign up sheets, but it's traditionally held on Sunday. See ya there! Let's make it a big turn out! We'll be adding a 4th sign up over at the old 4C's cafe for the procrastinators. They open at 5am the morning of. You're allowed to sign up prior to 7am on SUNDAY September 6th.
  5. I've been bad lately with a lack of reports. Just been tired I guess. I'll try to keep them coming. 8-22 Morning - Long time client Mike joined us with his step son and a friend. We headed out to the 27N line a few clicks West and trolled it North. Fishing wasn't great, and it wasn't bad. A steady pick. A-TOM-MIK Pro Am and Protein flies were good behind Marvs Fatty and UV Hammertime paddles. Top spoons were DW Salmon Slappers, UV Lemon Ice, and Silver Green Glows. Some nice Buckeyes showed up......finally! 8-22 Afternoon - Lon and crew joined us again this year for an afternoon/morning deal. We lost half the fish we hooked. It's that time of year they are getting those hard mouths! We fished the 27-29N lines again a click West. Our Cannon's were on fire with DW Salmon Slappers and Roy Boys down 60-85'. Silver Green Glow on our divers out 150 and a Marvs Fatty/A-TOM-MIK Protein fly out 240'. 8-23 - We started inside and took 3 Salmon before the 8am vapor screen began. Ran offshore to the 27N and trolled it out to the 29N and picked away at them. Dropped half the fish we hooked, but we had plenty of action until the East wind picked up at 11am. On our Cannon riggers DW Salmon Slappers and Roy Boys were studs.
  6. Warm inside 28/29. Temps down 80+. 29-31 temps up around 50-60. Some nice chrome showing up. @ATOMMIK Pro Ams are the most consistent today

  7. We won the third leg of the King of the Oak Saturday! Great offshore bite! @CannonFishing & @ATOMMIK were best! http://t.co/yl5NuhLL1Z

  8. You guys had a hell of a run going. You probably had the best shot at de-throwning Rob too! Points race is over for ya, but you can still win #4 and help recover some of that expense you incurred this weekend.
  9. That was his bad for not understanding how prize money works. Not the tourney. Of course you will be taxed. This is NYS!
  10. Saturday's King of the Oak event had 22 boats competing. Big fish of the event was a 25.10 Salmon by team Retro.
  11. Offshore bite isn't there anymore. Bait has moved and so did the fish. Search mode again come morning.

  12. Great bite this morning. @ATOMMIK pro am flies being our best on a diver out 150' and 300 copper. 28-32N http://t.co/xRaLQfprbQ

  13. You can register prior to 7am on Saturday. Weigh only your 3 largest fish. Must leave and return to Oak Orchard Must be in weigh in line by 3pm. $100 entry can be paid at Narby's, Captains Cove, or Lake Breeze Marina
  14. Fat Nancy's has them in stock.
  15. I'd recommend backer too. It'll make your counters that much more accurate, and give you your full gear ration/line pick up.
  16. Long weekend! Fish were sporadic and nothing was really hot. Offshore is the most stable water. They're out there! http://t.co/xEnoWdhPQW

  17. Tekota 800. 150 yards of 50lb Power Pro and 500' of A-TOM-MIK copper. It's a tight fit! Daiwa recently came out with a reel called the Segate that has the same line capacity as the Tekota.
  18. Put 'em to bed on the 30/31. Textbook early August with matures on bait. DW Sea Sick and Carbon 14 on @CannonFishing http://t.co/zaVAQy2Ldm

  19. Don't fish temp! Fish marks on your FF. This weekend we caught kings in 39-40 degree water in Canada, and and last week we caught them at the Oak in 60+ degree water. In my opinion too many people worry about temp. For years we started at 60 degrees and worked deeper into the colder water with our spreads, but the more and more we fish Summer temps the more I realize it doesn't matter as much. Use that probe to repeat speeds they are liking that day.
  20. Great report! Sitting at work anxious to get out tomorrow!
