yeah its worth the trip to hills, valley and streams they carry all the hot lures and tackle the charters use. seneca bait and tackle has very limited supplies.

well took the dog house for her shake down run today. after talking to butts i decided to run and find fish. once i got to my spot it was dead for 3 miles so i crossed the lake and once we did we immediately hooked up with a fish on a big weenie fly balls on chin fly. other fly that caught fish was big weenie mirage proctoligist. the reel hooked up spoon took our final fish of the day. over all for what time we had on the water thought we did good. ron put tons of fish on the old whore and now it up to me to keep the tradition going.

i run the vibrator fly all the time. i either run them as a fixed slider or straight off the dypsy. i run them without a flasher and i also run them with the grease trap.

sorry gill-t but 1/2 of our big fish 8 to 12 lbs come on 10 and 12 core in the fingerlakes. with the new okuma clarions high speeds it doesn't take as long to crank in the 10 and 12 cores.

lil jons in mexico has the best selection for fly tying material i would start there first.
