skinnyskins, stop with the bashing of hills valley and streams...ive been a customs since they open and never had a problem with them.....dan and yvonne bend over backwards for their customs that walks through their door.......so you broke a rod, so what it happens....you had eyes pop out so did i..ive had eyes pop ouy of my st croix rod bought at dicks and was told i had to sent it in to st croix to be replaced....

a slider is a 2nd line add to the main line....it consist of a length from anywhere of 3 to 7 ft...with a barrel swivel on one end and a snap on the other...attach the barrel swivel on the main line and a snap swivel on the spoon.......its either fixed or slider....if its a fixed slider you drop the rigger down to 10 ft or so and clamp the barrel swivel to the main line, put on a rubber band with a half hitch and also clamp the ball swivel to the rubber band so it will not slide freely when you drop the rigger to the desired depth.....if its a free slider just drop your rigger to your desired depth clamp the ball swivel to the main line and toss the spoon in the water and the slider will drop to the bow in the line....
