  3. took my old boss and trolling keuka out fishing today. launched out of severne at 6 am and started fishing around 6:15 and stop at 11:00. we ended up going 7for8 2 LL salmon and 5 lakers. we took 2 lakers on the big weenie grease trap with a slap your mama vibrator fly attached. 1 off a dypsy out 250 with a white and green dot spin dr and a homo say what big weenie fly. the LL's came on a blue and black spoon that was on a slider. the other 2 came off a green and yellow spoon. we ran into very little weeds and no sight of fles yet. lots of bait pods on the east side 20 to 30' foot down, with fish in then.

  10. you can use 10lb line until the fleas show up then you have to go up to 20 lb so you can shake then off
  11. lakers are easy to catch with flasher and flies
  12. sure while the real buffy is at the oak as we speak of this. we can blame him for this
  13. i have a question why do you have to divide the brackets up between pro and am. just run it all as one bracket, the pro's can only weigh in the 1st 9 fish which is the amateur limit. record it if they are in this special event then continue weighing in the rest of the catch for the pro-am. and you have to go by the 1st 9 fish recorded on there sheet. this will allow the amateur boats a chance to compete against the pro boats. there is a lot amateur boats that put good catches i believe have a chance to win this.
  14. congrats glen

  19. set your down riggers 5' above the bottom when your fishing. run your leads no longer then 10' as lakers are lazy fish. go slow 1.5 to 2.4 mph, as you find fish on the bottom put your boat in neutral. let your spoons flutter down for 10 sec put boat in gear. this should help works for me.
