thats ok moto the whole time ray keep saying we should have not left the fish. if we would have just trolled east we probably could have caught aleast 50 plus fish. like ray said though anyone can catch a brown we went looking for the big boys. give it about another 2 weeks

all our hits were off boards 1 laker off the downrigger

howie you should be fine 10 mph winds with you boat will be ok north east wind is good to fish the 1st day the fish go on a feeding frenzy before the bait gets scattered. ive done real good with north east winds on the 1st day and the 2nd day not as good.

yep all my fault. as long as the knots on our fishing line holds up thats good but your right if i tied a better knot on the stringer better we would not have lost that fish. td we had the same spin dr but a different fly. like ray said on any giving day we catch the same amout of fish on the 2 different dypsies but saturday it was not the case wire just kick his ass. hottest fly on the boat was big weenies proctologist fly. with maniacs showtime in second. the fly on my dypsy needs to be retired their only like 5 strands left on the fly.

hey tom a guy i work with got into some wednesday at cayuga lake. they started running about 1 am. he got his limit, i would not have believe him, but he had his cooler in his truck.

we are fishing points as far as temps we didnt have any probes down. we fish any where from 75 to 106 down known that thats the main depths that lakers have been hitting for us.

hey tripledeuce saturday we didnt start marking fish until aroud 1 when the fish started coming off the bottom keep the garmin ff i have one and love it once you play around with it for awhile and figure it out you will like it i perfer the garmin over my bottom line

burb them slide the thumb from head to butt alot time its water and if you turn the upside down and drain them that works

we troll up one side of the lake and back down the other . work and east west troll going out to 150 back into 100 with 120 being the targeted area where the fish seem to hit. your welcome rollie. hows your arms i learned alot from ray and others on this site. to all you new guys dont be afraid to ask question everyone on this site is more then willing to give any info you need

went fishing with final fight today 20 for 30 an lakers. went back to the same spot ray and i fished thursday fish are still there we had a couple of triples and 5 doubles. big weenie flys produced again uncle pinch proctologist and toxic waste glow. the 120 fow was the targeted area 83 on the rigger and 204 and 225 on the dipsys 2.5 was the speed. all the fish we caught was released, very healthy only 2 had eels on them. we killed them. lot of 4-6 pounders and rollie caught a 10 pound very nice fish.

we had a couple of beers.. the greates thing was having 5 fish on at once. 1st my double, 1 on the rigger 1 on the dipsy. i look over and both of ray rods are going nuts he has 3 on 1 on the dipsy 1 on the rigger and a slider. i land mine set them down ray lands his set his down and 2 mins later my side go off and then rays again. we are just pounding the lakers. there all fat and health. for all you guys who fish the fingerlakes you guys should try the big weenie flys. i ran two flys on my side of the boat 1 called proctologist and the other 1 was called uncle joes pinch. these fly fired consistently. atleast 5 times these flys fired just after i put the rod in the holder. once you guys try them you will like them. www.bigweeniebrand.com
