i just asked a my friend who lives there and he said the launch is still closed. and they shut down the 104 launch because the have to teardown the bridge.

rollie, i was only counting my side of the boat. i cant touch any poles on ray side of the boat lol yeah he out fished me. im only allowed 1 rod and rays picks the lure. he says here a good one put it down. but for some reason he always give me a lure with no hooks. its always a red one and he tells me to put it down 90 ft. finally after ray gets a 10 fish lead on me i keep asking can i can change my lure now he says no after another fish i ask him again he says no. so what i do is wait until he gets a couple of beers in him and then i change my lure. no just joke ray knows his $hit he tells me what to put down and within 10 mins we usually have a fish on.

i fished with ray saturday and love how his little 8 hp kicker ran. i was impressed as for as long as we trolled and use of very little gas. 3 gallons i believe. trolled from 11 hrs on $12.00. the beer cost more the gas.

i had my landlock for dinner tonight ray grilled with citrus seasons, onions, mandarins oranges slices over it little butter. very good

you know when fishing is good is when you open a beer take a drink rods fire take another drink to finish you beer. go fight the fish. put downrigger back down. walk to the front to grab a new beer open it, turn around and your rod is pound with another fish. the best part is when we had 4 fish on at once and we never spilled an ounce of beer.

im redoing the floor in my boat and im using durabak, comes in all colors.

hey ray next time i go with you should i bring a calculator, protractor, to figure out the angles of the cable or will the 18 pk of coors light do good.

tripledeuce, good job glad to see you got your riggers to fire. as far as slowing down i rarely slow down. rays right green works the best.

musky i make this casserole alot but i done use smoke salmon. i just grill the salmon 1st then add all the ingredients .

seen that before in oswego not a pretty site. we started pulling up rig and all the sudden on the last rig as i'm grabbing the rod to pull it out of the release bang fish on. i tighten up the drag and cranked the fish in. never even put fish or rods away. throttled up the boat and we took off for shore. got all the way in and the funnels went away.

when chasing big kings you want less rods in your presentation to prevent then from shying away. i use 5 rods max 3 on the riggers and 2 for the dipsy hope this helps

sharkbait good point, it was a big let down when i stoped in at the cabelas in hartford conn, i was kinda hoping to find some sales, didnt see anything worth buying. i do like bass pro better, bigger selection for trolling tackle, and they have sale prices alot of times.
