  1. Musky Fishing - What is your preferred LB test line? Just wanted to get some feedback on what lb test line guys are fishing with these days for Musky. Vote is anonymous.
  2. There was some interest in this at the last chapter 69 meeting as rougarou mentioned. Would certainly be interesting...
  3. Thank you for supporting LOU Tom - we are glad to have you on-board
  4. I own a 2007 Superfisherman - awesome boat. Tough enough to handle big water but sized right to make trailering easy anywhere you want to go. I've never had any problems with mine.
  5. Should be exact same process to close/mark as sold. If you get stuck, feel free to PM me and I will be happy to help. Thanks guys! Chad
  6. Thanks for sharing Mike - I haven't seen those before. I bought a couple Okumas two years ago with the line counter on them and love them. For someone like me that casts and trolls, it was a great option.
  7. Yeah I saw the same thing Mike - it's odd they don't advertise the 5.1:1 power model on their website. Maybe it's a secret reel that only you and I know about now....
  8. Hahah - sorry to hear that - it is a pretty funny story though...
  9. LEXA HD-400 Series Musky Reels Hi guys - I'm looking outfit a rod this year for my crankbaits. Just wondering if anyone has ever used or tried the LEXA HD-400 series (specifically the PWR-P 5.1:1). I'm weighing this option against Shimano's Tranx. I can compare specs but wanted some feedback from anyone who has actually used the product. https://www.amazon.com/Daiwa-LEXA-HD400PWR-P-Bait-Casting-Black/dp/B01DWVB0P2
  10. Looking forward to seeing some of you Monday - winter fever setting in.
  11. Yes, very well done
  12. Welcome aboard Josh - lots of great guys here. Make yourself at home
  13. Best of luck with the tournament this year Penny! Always a great event.
  14. Nice fish guys - like the video.
  15. Going fishing is going to be like playing a video game at this rate. Can you imagine a United States vs. Canada tournament on the lake in the year 2100 where there are no actual boats on the water?
  16. Old man - I got that same letter today. Will we still get a calendar just for being members or do you have to donate extra to get it now?
  17. Thanks guys for headsup on this. I'll look into it and get bugs fixed Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. Thanks guys for the support - we just finished a couple more adjustments to the server. Should see an even bigger increase in page load speeds now. About 90% of the way done now with server optimization . Then I can start working on some of the bugs and feature requests I've received.
  19. Update - server upgrade of PHP has been completed. We upgraded to help with faster code rendering (up to 58% faster). Will do some other adjustments tomorrow. Thanks for the patience everyone - Chad
  20. Hi Scott - I got some work to do still on the mobile version. I would recommend downloading the LOU App for the time being - it's a much more consistent interface. The issue is that we went from a "mobile" site to a "responsive" site - and while this probably means nothing to you, it means I need some more time to get it refined. Please let me know of any issues you experience with it and I will continue to debug it as we go here. Thanks for the headsup on it. LOU Mobile App - GOOGLE PLAY (Android) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tapatalk.lakeontariounitedcomfishinghunting&hl=en LOU Mobile App - APPLE (iPhone) https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lake-ontario-united/id644330966?mt=8 Thanks again - Chad
  21. Upgrade of LOU site Step 2 of 2. Hi guys/gals – We had a successful upgrade of the LOU site this past weekend to the new forum software. This now allows us to do a lot of different things with respect to the overall speed of the site that we couldn’t do before. Sometimes you need to crack the egg before you can make the omelet Over the next day or two here, I will be making some server adjustments that should help the overall site performance… during this time the site may be down temporarily. These server updates won't take nearly as long as the core software upgrade did (several minutes vs. several hours). I'm expecting these server adjustments to yield roughly a 55-70% increase in overall site speed (depending on which browser you use). In my own experience, I have found Google's Chrome browser to be the fastest hands down. Download here if you're interested: GOOGLE CHROME. Just wanted to give you a headsup on this. Thanks again for your patience and support! Chad
  22. Hi Jim - I was able to get this working for you. You should now see a "Mark site read" link at both the header and footer (right side) of the site on all pages. Thanks - Chad
  23. Wow - nice fish Kevin!
