Where did the app go??
BlueEye replied to Wise77's topic in Welcome to Lake Ontario United - Fishing Forum
App is getting updated as it is no longer supported by forum software. After upgrade is complete it will appear again in Play store. Currently the old app should still work so I would just use that for the time being until new app is finished. You can also use mobile version of site as that works fine as well. Thanks - Chad -

Had a chance to get some fishing with the family in and bring back some of my old childhood memories of dock fishing in Alex Bay. It was a lot of fun back then in the 80's/90's and just as much fun today with my own daughters. And for those parents out there that don't want to deal with trying to get worms on hooks..... try this: Good luck on the water this year everyone! Chad

Here is my Fittante mount - took a little longer than LAX but came out great IMO. I've included some pictures of the shipping crate it came in as well. My LAX mount is out at the cottage now and I don't have a picture of it with me. A couple mounts done by LAX for Bob Walters of Water Wolf Charters that I also liked: LAX mount at Cape Vincent DEC station All wood walleye mount done by Hans the Carver (who does muskies as well) but was very impressed by this one:

Nice fish Nathaniel - congrats. Here are some options for replicas I'd recommend for consideration: Hans the Carver - http://hansthecarver.com/carvings/ Fittante Replicas - http://www.fittantereplicas.com/ LAX Replicas - https://www.laxreproductions.com/ Paul Czarnecki from LOU runs Tri-State Taxidermy - http://www.tristatetaxidermy.com/ If you are looking for a good Canadian option check out: Advanced Taxidermy - https://www.advancedtaxidermy.com/fish/fish-gallery/ All of them do phenomenal work in my opinion.

Nice day guys! Congrats. Looks like it was a deeper water trolling bite that day as I don't know of any casters that got any. Sorry I wasn't able to attend as I was celebrating my 10-year anniversary. It was a hard choice but if I wanted to make it another 10 years I had to pick wisely 4 muskies is great day - congrats again. Chad

Hi LOU members, I had a chance over the last couple months to sit down and talk a lot with Steve LaPan (Section Head, Great Lakes Fisheries) and Dr. Farrell (SUNY ESF) with the goal of creating an electronic option for participating in the research on the St. Lawrence River muskellunge population at their Thousand Islands Biological Station (TIBS). This research is funded by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and is guided by an international muskellunge management plan. The voluntary Angler Diary Program is an important tool used by ESF scientists to help evaluate the status of the St. Lawrence River muskellunge population and sportfishery. Many members here on LOU already participate in this via the hard copy diary mailed out each year. This year we are pleased to announce they have accepted an electronic submission option in addition to the hard copy. More info about the program and the Angler Diary Submission Form can be found here: https://nymusky.com/dec-tibs-muskellunge-angler-diary-program/ I'd encourage anyone who fishes the river to participate even if you catch nothing! All entries are submitted directly to the ESF scientists in support of their on-going efforts track trends in our sport fishery and aid the DEC in their management of the St. Lawrence River muskellunge fishery. Thanks for the consideration and good luck on the water this year! Chad
