  3. Tim on another board guys are fishing deep and went to 125# for rigger wire smaller dia.= less blow back also use braid on the rigger rods same reason. I have not heard any on them putting there probe that deep thou. So yes 135# would be OK but with the extra stress of the probe ( and the cost to find out) .......................

  7. http://www.nysparks.com/parks/12/amenit ... ities.aspx site for Fairhaven, I was only there once last year they have docks/slips not many I was told they were first come deal but if you were there over night they would chagre you.................I could not fine any of that on the site other than they have "Dockage" Dockage We kept the boat at the site and launched each day.
  8. yep mine a few weeks ago also..................
  9. I use it with a blacks release and add a crimp just in case. I tryed a few differnt ways 1st was to srtip wire of coating but I would lose signal around 140' or so. Then I tryed slipping a srink tube over it and sealing better with that..............that worked OK till it started to beak apart.................next I made knot and burned coating off , that was a pain I did get all the coating off and would not work then it would............... I think the best would be too just strip a small area where you think the knot will end up...............the other bad deal with the burning off the coating is the wire will start to rust alo causing signal lost.................
  10. http://www.esgdirect.com/trolling.html scroll down they have 300' @ 150# test......................200' down with probe = a LOT of blow back
