  3. A-TOM-MIK Customer Service I was fishing with my cuz (buckboardjr) out of Fair Haven and we had one "HOT" fly that he only had one of. We took a picture of it and I posted it on here when I got back from my end of the trip. Bucky was still up there for a few more days so. I also sent A-Tom-Mik a e-mail with it asking him the name. With in a hour or so he replied and I contacted my cuz with his info. (#41)............. Thanks Tom

I fish alone 25% of the time and wear a lifevest (belt) 85% , I forget to put it on some times..................Lake Ontario fishing I always fish with someone else and still wear one I can't swim real great just enough to get by...............but I've only been doing it for 5 years now and because of a post/ducssion like this...................it a personal choice we all make each time we go out on the water...........kids have them on all the time on my boat NO choice........

  8. Pike fishing was GREAT two years ago on Seneca , I even went after them some. Then there was a huge die-off there still around but not in the #'s they were..............the pluss side is the landlock fishing got better .........fewer lost after stocking to BIG pike ???
  9. I've only fished it two times a few years ago , launched at the north end and it was one of the nicest I've seen but I guess get VERY busy on weekends............we fished down the east side and came to large shoal ( should be on your map ) seemed to hold fish then just below or past that we would troll across and go back north. Then run the east side again. If your fishing why not take the time to post reports ??? Make them as detailed or just how you did and what lake..........good reports or bad they are all helpful for anyone that is thinking about fishing the water you are reporting on............... just saying !!!!!

  11. Nice report Cuz , Oh a little birdy told me you had a "HOT" bite at the dinner table......... ............
  12. Sorry about that but here it is.................... the park guy at Lodi Point just gave me this recipe to try. I had a side of the last 9#+ brown put brown sugar on it ( I was supost to pat it dry with a paper towel but forgot) anyway. Then leave in fridge over night , ( I went fishing next morning and got a e-mail from my cuz to come up to Fair Haven with him ) so it was on ice till Monday night I would shake the plastic bag I had it in every time I was in the cooler or fridge at camp. Took a small gas grill got it as hot as I could dropped the brown meat side down skin side up for about 2 minutes and turned it over. Turn heat down mixed up butter , lemon juice , salt & pepper..........basted the top of the fish till it was all on it.............checked meat when it looked done did a taste test on thick end ..........tasted done but didn't look quite done so I left it on a few minutes more..............gave it a try and this was the BEST fish meal I ever had...............
