Thanks for the scanned copy waterlogged. I also contacted Cannon they said they would send one to me .................still waiting on that one LOU BB has better C.S.

Yes , but the base will mount to a dash of your boat and run off the boat battery also. Then you just remove one screw in the back and it handheld again.
I think the biggest varible in REEL time would be what the fish was doing. If it was 40' or a 100' and NOT moving they should look the same but if one was on the move and going the same direction as the boat the arc would be bigger on that one.................but what I know....... .........this will be fun...............
I agree I have two heartlands one is two+ years and the other is 1 year old. I have not put the twilli tip on but will soon. The eye holds up real well but I hear I'll get less curly-q's with the twilli tip by making a smother arc for the wire coming off the that instead of the way it comes off the eye.
But If you want TOP of the line custom make to your specs I hear LOTS of good thing about this guys rods:

Not to start a fuss but how many of these Fishing Derbies / tournaments put ANY thing back into the fishery ? I can see where they help the area they are held in with $$$$ in there pocket and such . I once tryed to check into where the money's of a derby went and just got no where. I think it's ND that has a law that if you run a Derbies / tournaments that 5% or 10% went back into the fishery or a conservation fund of the (Derbies / tournaments) choice. One year at Lake Champain they were running a pike turny when the weight in was over they dumped all the pike back in by the launch. Many of which died.........this is just not right. I questioned the weight in of the Seneca Lake Trout Derby of just doing it for a chance of $10.00 drawning or what ever amount it is but someone is there taking ALL that info + a scale sample for the DEC. So killing those fish some good comes out of it not just money in someone pocket................go head blast away.............
Sampo swivels have faiedl me a number of times. I was lucky most times as the snap failed when I opened or closed it in my hand nothing lost. I have started to stay away from the "black" color snaps as I have heard ( note heard this no 100% sure) that they acid dip them for the black color and this makes them weaker than the sliver color ones...........anyone know if this is true ????
Good topic !!!
Rob I don't have it just wondering what "chip for the lake" you are talking about. I'm not 100% sure but the best I can tell a Navionics chip will NOT work in a garmin. Just found this on the Navionics site:
