Current NYS law doesn’t limit number of rods. It says 2 lines per angler. That means that while you’re fishing your stream or embayment, someone can toss two trot lines out there, tie them to a tree & catch 5 fish on each one, right out from under your nose. It’s perfectly legal sportsfishing. That’s been the law for 70+ years. That’s the law you saying shouldn’t be changed. I don't think that's sportsfishing.

In all fair ness unless I read the "3 rod rule" wrong it would NOT change the one on the books for 70+ years that you talk about because your putting it out on a river not L.O. but it could make a sethgreen rig illegal on L.O. .......is that right ?
hoppy , that's the idea behind the mount I talked about , the gun stayed the same you just use longer screws, save the old screw and you can put it back as good as old any time.
I have a 20.5' starcraft center console with a 15 hp merc , worked well except with a stiff wind. I talked to boat dealer and they sold me on a "sailboat" type prop. It diggs and holds great in the wind without adding more rpm's or having folks move to one side of the boat for a turn. Down side weeds don't get cut up from prop and wrap up and cause me tp power up a little as they slow me down. Then at the end of the day I see them on the prop when getting ready to run it. Just a cheaper way to go without buying a "new" and bigger motor.
I have a "old" gun trader's guide 1981 so the price would be way off but the 16 ga. would be 1973 or before. Some guns made in the 1950's and 1960's have grooved slide handle.
Oh don't go with a wide veiw scope because if I remember corect you have to turn the scope so the shell will not hit the adjustment knob when ejecting it. Then you would have a wide up and down veiw !!!!!!!! Not to the side. Eye relief is the main problem that's why some turn the scope because you have to bring it back so far you could get cut with the scope on recoll.
I have not been up Samson way for some time now. We picked up a few eaters this morning and a dink just north of Lodi Point and a good mile before the boy scout camp. Some weeds in the area and are hard to see. Fish were small 18" ,19" and 22" and the dink.........the best day we had was on the west side 5+ miles south of Servern. Two landlocks (lost the big one) 8# laker 6# laker 3# laker and 5 dinks............went back in that area next day and could not get a rod to go. We did manage a dink laker and 19" rainbow more north of that area.
Just got back in with Hoot went down at 8:30 or so had to get stuff ready........anyway after some time we boated one then along dry spell and we boated one more and a few releases with out a hook up. Then the last fish as it was coming in looked tail hooked. As I got it closer the slider line had it all looped up the hook had come out but the line had him tied up... .. .... NO hook was in it ........... ...........fished east just below Lodi Point north to just south of Willard.....weeds are not real bad but just a few inches down below the surface and you are on top of them before you see them. Picked up fish at 90' down , 100'down and 95' down all lakers. Bait was scrace till we got just below Willard.
If the above doesn't fix it , it could be the diaphram in the fuel pump. I had the same problem you talk about , started fine ran good at idle and would open up fine with no load. Put it in the water and open her up and she would bog down. Last time out before I changed the fuel pump diapharm we had to have someone pump the bulb all the way in.....................good luck..............Oh also if you have a inline canister before th bulb it would not hurt to change that out also could be plugging up and you have to help get the gas thru to the fuel pump.
StarTron ,,,,, check the gas pumps they must have it posted if it's blended. There are a few around , in Ovid at the Fastrac the two pumps on east side are OK.
