  6. I had that set up on this one with a 200 and 9.9 , also on my 1988 210 Mariner 80 hp Merc + 15hp as long as he has enough room for both motors to turn , sure as long as the transom is in good shape.
  7. I like the afternoon for LL and bows ...... my brother Stan had a theory some thing like Nicks about the lakers
  8. Ok thanks Hop....
  9. Ohboy now I'm in trouble Kinger was reading this over my shoulder , he's strutting here like a BIG king of the hill TOM turkey.....

  11. Thanks Mike... Bob is still coming over to do the teaking when he get new motor for his barge rig ..... Just pick your time and let me know any but the 4th should work... take care Thanks Glenm you will have to stop by some time... Thanks Hop it was fine when we launched her to put her in the lift this spring , I've had promblems with mud wasps many time with the old boat I alway carried a piece of wire to run down it...... do you have a yammy on your fishmaster ?
  12. First time out fishing , got down to boat at about 2:45 Pm , Kinger took a look djd another look see and jumped in the boat......dock is gret for him and very easy for Carol and I......... lower her down started up the 200 ,,,,, not pissing .....turn it off took a peek at the back of the motor could not get a good look.....fire her back up and reved a tad started pissing water..... back her out pulled rod holders straight up with rods in them and headed across lake to see what all the work that was being done south of Lodi.......$$$$$ home and landscaping road access put in must have got a TON of permits....... put in a three rod spoon program with X4 in the water.....X4 had low battery reading ( Oops !!!!! ) change battery ,,,,,,,,, that's about it mark some good bait pods but didn't mark or have a release......... headed back in about 5:15 pm ...... got her back in the hoist pretty fair.......
  13. I just remembered one more negative with the sailboat prop besides gas usage going way up. The edges of the prop were wide and blunt , when I got into floating weeds or stringer weeds they would wrap around prop. They were a real pain to get off. I have a hi thrust 9.9 yammy on my fishmaster 210 its work good and no issues so far with the weeds , if a hi-thrust prop would would fit maybe a much better idea than the sailboat prop.
  14. Thanks ,
  15. WTG great report !!! Nice LL
  16. Lake Trout cheeks also !!!!! I usually just take the fresh ones put them in a coffee cup with some butter and nuke them...... how are you guys keeping your walleye cheeks till you get a bunch to do up ?
  17. I had a 15hp merc on my other boat , it would not handle the wind and waves well I got way more speed than you are getting. It was on a Starcraft Mariner 210 lots of gear great gas return for hours fished....... I went to Barrett's Marine in Geneva told then what I wanted they sold me what Fran called a sailboat prop , it would dig great and I could handle the waves and wind better lost some top speed on WOT and gas used for time fished went up a lot...... seems some thing else is off with your set up..... mine had a shallow water setting for the tilt ( just a tab you could flip up if you wanted it deep in the water ) may check that
  18. This is the smelt fly way wrong on the name the slim profile worked best on George.... Grand Slam BucktailsDesigned to be trolled behind a flasher or dodger, Grand Slam Bucktails have proven to be deadly for salmon and lake trout from Alaska to California to the Great Lakes. The durable epoxy head has an iridescent, mother of pearl finish and will stand up to lots of abuse from angry fish. The bodies are made of FisHair and Crystal Flash to match the sheen of the head. Tied on .080" tubing. Choose between the larger profiled Herring or the Slimmer Needlefish. All patterns glow in the dark.
  19. WTG Les , congrats to you and your son.....
  20. I'd go pro again for that upgrade , Ed
