72" = 36 volt ------ 60" = 24 volt agree with above mine is OK on Seneca most day , if your fishing Lake O I think the 72" would be a better choice unless you have auto pilot other than the terrova. Then it would not matter

You can do it but just a temporary fix. If you change it out think about also replacing the shift/throttle controls at the same time. First check to see if it's cables or the motor. Unhook motor from cable system and try it also move motor back and forth by hand , should move very easy. If it's cables you will have to get them out of the tube , use a shot gun cleaning kit to clean out inside of tube and relube. Put a hose over top of the cable and clamp with hose clamp..... Hold upright and add cleaner , I used pb-blaster. I had a air line quick disconnect put in end of hose and hooked air line up. Then moved steering wheel back and forth..... Pull it off wiped down exposed cable while moving steering wheel again.... I did this a number of times .... Then lubed it back up and hooked it all back up.....lasted mybe a season.... Ended up changing cable out and a year later the shift cable broke tore floor back out to replace that.... Good luck

The first part to change a law that is legal now I have no problem with like I said good for them IF done right. The second part of your reply I did not see that on here must have been what Alec deleted..... anyway if the teacher in charge of this signed it several times and is using a picture of a teary eyed child with a empty pail as proof ...... I'm with you total BS and something should be done with that teacher. -
Good to hear about record keeping.What is wrong with them following a issue with a law and collecting info to back it? Heck until you see what they have you are doing the same thing you accused other of in this thread.

Are they also looking at the buying end. From what has been posted on here looks like a off the books deal. DEC says I can do it with a fishing licences only 50/day. How is that regulated ? Like said above if someone want to take 50/day for the freezer good for them. If someone wants to sell 50/day for what ever reason good for them. If a group of kids from ANY school is gathering information that would back the reason to change a law...... WAY awesome...... think that great. Just saying here if I was into making money on the sale of fish more than likely( I hope ) I would play by the rules. Then if things got real tight for me and when I was selling them no one did anything to document that I just sold 50 to them what would stop me from getting 50 more ????? I just think that is more of a issue but its what I think with nothing to back it. Fishing the finger lakes during the week is fun. Fishing the weekend is not so bad just a little more hectic at the launch.Fishing during a derby where $$$ is involved is some times crazy !!!! The craziness is just a few !!!!!

Oh-boy , Townmarine? They set mine up but any dealing later with them was a total nightmare parts guy a jerk...They give piss poor service , good deals on boats...you mite want to check with the dealer from North of you or maybe give snakecreek a call...

I agree must be your set-up mine burns water coming out of the hole trims out quick..... I'll take a look on the prop and other set-up and get back to you..... we are not that far away if you want to take a look see.. about 30 minutes or so.. let me know

I had this same problem with my 15hp Merc I also had the a TrollMaster and with heavy wind I needed the guys in the boat to move to the side...... I put a sailboat style prop on and it worked much better BUT gas usage went way up...... I have a Yamma 9.9 Hi Thrust now on a bigger boat great gas usage and it handles well..... not 100% on subject for you but hope it helps some. -

Works most days on Seneca have not gave it a go on Lake O. For me it was worth it less than I would have paid for a AUTO-PILOT. TERROVA 80 LB 60" US2/i-PILOT 24 volt system -

circuit board is for auto-stop..... if this board is gone your motor will not work..... new board is around $75.00 last one I got was thru Screwie Louies ...... If you don't want auto and board is gone you will need a different switch .... 3 prong ( i think would have to look for sure ) instead of a 4 prong.
