  1. Just got back in pretty lumpy...... fished east side north .... good screen , bait and marks...... only ran two riggers ...... 0 for 0............
  2. wire + fleas + a tad of weeds = annoyed as hell Fleaflicker or Seaflea blood run = OK
  3. Think you been hanging around Les too much !!!!!!
  4. Thanks again Jim for that info , I'm going to change over the other rod to it also......
  5. If anyone else wants this just PM me your e-mail and I'll send it out to you.
  6. I think this picture may help to explain what I'm talking about with dipsy..... on Hoot right you can see the rigger where that 7' roller rod was and it's hard to see put the rigger is swiveled one click to the back of the boat...... now the rod holder in front on the gunnel would not work for that short rod unless I ran the rigger straight out the back then it would be a pain to change out.....
  7. I have a detailed set-up I got from Jim off this site with pictures. I still have the e-mail if your interested PM me your e-mail and I'll send it too you. I just set mine up the other day and it worked good.
  8. I agree but I run a 7'6 roller rod in dual cannon rodholder , put the rigger rod in the back and wire rod nearer the front of the boat and swivel back the rigger to give more clearance..... If I didn't have this set-up I would only be able to run it down the cute......

Seneca 7/25/2014 We were back at it again today…… worked from 500+ to 250 back to 400 FOW…… ran two wire rods one with slide-diver ( got the set-up from a guy on this site it worked GREAT !!! ) and a dipsy off my 7’ roller rod , two riggers after a few spoon changes the FLT glow froggy fog was the only spoon that took fish……. Slide diver on 3 240’ out with SD green/sliver green Atomic fly……. Roller rod 210’ out same set-up…….. boated 3 legal landlock , 3 legal rainbows and 5 lakers from 22†to 28.5†boxed the lakers…..just before and past long point was a wall of cold water 36’ down 60* picked up one lake at that depth…… bows and landlocks came off rigger parked at 68’……. I dropped 4 wire fish and two off riggers , Hoot lost 1 or 2 wires and that was about it……ball speed was tuff to judge at the start had some pretty good waves and we were from 2.2 to 2.7 …… all fish came on north troll…………… Slide diver with fish on.... Roller rod fish on.... Hoot don't smile much !!!!!
  11. hermit On from this sites sell some..... basspro about a hour or so north.
  12. Kinger , Hoot and I got out for a bit today been awhile. We went 1 for 4 all on wire rig 210' out UV BTI sliver fly.... one nice landlock with a lamprey scar..... clean side....
  13. What do you recommend ? One that would work on a 9.9 Yamaha and F200
  14. Did you ever find that switch ? Mine still takes a long time to fill but sounds a lot faster than what it takes you....
  15. When I get back up to Ovid I'll check in Brewers for you....maybe put a post in the wanted section on here for them also.
  16. How did you make out with the peanut/pound-ball rig ?
  17. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Luhr-Jensen-reg-Needlefish-Spoons/1164582.uts?productVariantId=2803365&srccode=cii_328768002&cpncode=35-230808888-2&WT.tsrc=CSE&WT.mc_id=BingPLA&WT.z_mc_id1=03068597&rid=40
  18. How are you putting the line in the release ? The ball hanging from the downrigger or ball in a ball-holder on the gunnel ? I would get mine twisted on my center rigger of the back of the boat because I pulled the ball in and put it in the holder every time I checked/changed it and got one twist in it as I put it back in the water if I didn't keep a close eye on it.... no issues when using retriever ..............
  19. Not sure on your lake but on Seneca they put them in 8" in May.............. thanks for the update guys good to hear everyone had a fun time !!!!!
