Yesterday fleas mid lake were getting bad , I pulled my #10 spoon rods and replaced with my 20# FF spoon rod set ups,,,,, ran a deep rigger rod with #30 Andre no problem yet
Thanks glenm , pulled the 10# test spoon rods yesterday after going out and put the #20 fleaficker with #8 fluorocarbon leader , #30 downrigger rod for flasher are OK for now
Went down around 2ish today till 4:30 or fished solo, went 5 for 5....... 3 lakers , 1 landlock salmon and a brown. Kept three salmon 17" , laker 19" and brown 21" 5.5#........
King , Carol and I got back out today about 1ish to 3:45 . Went 2 for three one 17" rainbow for me , a miss for Carol then she landed a nice 22" 4.5# brown. King is winking a CUZ Pat
King , Carol and I got out on the lake today, went down just before one. Uncover boat and had it in the water a tad after one. Fished north to just south of Long Point never moved a rod. Turned and came back south. Went 2 for 5 , boated two small lakers Carols was the biggest just over 18". We ended with that fish and a salmon that tangled all the lines was pulling him in by hand and came off at the net.......fun day !!!!!!

I've run blacks for years , have a double pair one for spoons and one for dodger/flashers. You have to re-check them each time out because they get a bit sticky. You can crank them down and use a rubber band on they also.
The Chamberlain releases sound like a good deal.
