WTG..... landlocks have been hard for me the past two years... thanks for info for a tackle junky now I need a fix...LOL

Andy also some days are just like that........one other thing to do is leave the rod in the holder and REEL like heck to get a bend in the rod ASAP.....

Hook file , if you been getting them on the smae spoon a couple of passes with the file will work wonders...... the lead deal is dead on but some time you have to run long ones...... I've seen a landlock jumping behind the boat my leads were in the 75' to 100' range and could not tell which rod it was one because he ran at the boat....... anyway so far this year on the east side it's been a bit murky 35' to 45' been ok I had it shorter one day but water was to clear so I dropped them back......just eyeball it Andy...........I have LOTS of misses on lead core......

Well now after all the run around the check will be in the mail covering cost + shipping charges............

I replied to there e-mail told them what I thought and would be post this ( as I have ) on the 6 fishing sites I belong to...............called me at home .........I was at the lake.........home now and they called told me sorry but it broke so no claim....... told them it broke because it got to tight and it was the only way to get it off.............don't care what you do already order parts.............I hung up..................they called back .....long story short the word BROKE is what red-flagged the claim............asked me to send copy of the order I sent in ( I did ) and the will reinburse me ( we see )..................anywho the riggers are GREAT fast and work well just the new bases suck !!!!!

On May 8 2012 I bought 2 Mag 10 STX downrigger and also got the 3 Year Extended Warranty thru : www.cpscentral.com ( 1-800-905-0443) ....after fishing today I was going to cover boat with the bad weather coming and go home...............tacking off the first rigger no problem , second one was stuck , then just kept turning nothing happening , could see the plastic knob turn but the shaft with the bolt was not.....gessshhh...... and steering with the auto pilot is like it was last fall before I replaced the steering cable but lets not go there now........... so long story short to get it off I broke the knob and the bolt broke off inside the down rigger....what a cheesy set up had OLD mag 10s and 10a for year and NEVER had this issue..............any way went online to chat with these folk and some place along the line he didn't get back to me........then called the 800 # gave ALL the info again talked a bit to this lady she told me to hold and would get someone that knew about these............start over with the info get thru to this guy that had NO IDEA what a downrigger was ............ then he want a HARD copy of my recite I said " dude that's what I did when I put all the info on your site besides I bought it online...........OK............set my claim up............just a while ago got a e-mail back it NOT covered .............. I contacted Cannon after that we'll see what they do..........then got thinking how long will this take and with the cheesy way it made it will happen again.........so I went out to fish307 and order 2 sets of parts one to fix it now and one for later when the other one ****s to bed.................OK have a good day everyone I off the soap box.......gggeeessshhh.....wish I had the BIG words like someone else on here............

Well with all the rain coming down I figured I'd make a run over to HILLSVALLEY and take a look around.........called over to see if Iron Duke was working , they said he would start at 3. So I hurried up and got over there and was back here before 3.......

I wimped the other day , same deal I had the boat covered didn't want to get her all wet on the inside........wimping some today looking at one more rain cloud to pass then I hope to get Kingerboy in gear and head out...........

They are open to try new water , that's why I posted what they want to target..... been fishing Lake George and Lake C. , I told him if got in the middle of Seneca and Cayuga some place they could hit them and be a hour + travel to other lakes in the area....what do you think ???

I have a buddy ( yea I know he must be a dumb **** to be buddies with me ) anyway he's looking for a place to rent for a week , 6 people with room for atleast two bassboats..... they will be bass-fishing also like pike and muskie.....any recomendation ??/ Thanks ED

ID Robby the guy on the hill above me with the trophy ????? He headed for LAKERLAND.......with about three or so more I watched go by...... You bet SK8man I picked up and came in at 9;30ish the rain was lite but the wind picked up , should say started it was dead clam ...wasn't doing any thing in Iron Duke'd hole ( and pretty much where the PACK was yesterday ) so I came in............. Sure Andy ever since he was on your boat he's been NOT NICE................... Well I'll get to it now............... so Kingerboy was out on the chain doing his thing and coffee was done so I was going to get boat loaded and ready to go.......took Kingerboy over to back of truck hooked him to the trail gate and got busy........... checked gas had room for 5gals so I went to top it off...........spilled some and got that on my hands back inside to wash it off..........OK here we unhook Kingerboy and see a fresh present on the ground better here then in the boat.....start down the driveway .......back up go baqck inside and pick up the cell ......HEY ya never know and I'm not 100% sure my radio it working right.............. down to the launch ......set up and work the area I did yesterday pick up first fish going air born GREAT landlock ......nope 18.5" brown......in the box....... 12' down ......later 21' riggers goes .....head skaker.....ok I'll take a laker....................17.75" brown.....in the box.....then rod throbbing popped it free no-one home...... worked thru a bit nothing going on so I headed to where the pack was yesterday that's when I saw Robby heading out.........anyway didn't do a thing it that area and then headed in early with the lite rain and no rods moving........

Coffee is on Kinger is getting ready should be heading down by 6ish........... I would like to take this day of fishing on Seneca lake to salute Iron Duke and his day of WORK……
