to bypass you need a 4 wire switch and a short jumper wire of the breaker............. this will cause you fits , it will start kicking out your breaker taking for ever to to bring it back up.......Screwy Leuy has short stop boards ....... BUT you have bigger problems that just that...... I had thought about filling the gear housing with grillia glue and drilling it back out but found housing in the mean time....

Jim Bator , low bridge so don't have your jigging rod sticking up to high before you pull out into the lake..............we'll be waiting to read your report GOOD luck and have FUN !!!!! I've done some jigging and lots of trolling , last two years I went to a lighter reel with my spoon program with lite rods........the fight is as good as jigging BUT you don't get the WACK fish on that you do jigging...... now I agree a 22" laker on a dipsy or flasher fly rig will not show you what he has like he will jigging BUT on just spoons it a good fight !!!!!!!

Sean the was full of weeds but they never stay HOT for long anyway.... just have to find them some where......... thought your spread looked a little weak only 20 or so rods out .....

Thanks guys , We ran south watching the weeds as we went didn't look REEL bad so after a bout 5 to 6 miles we set up going south..........that didn't last more than a 1/2 mile ran into thicker weeds so spund around and went north..........picked up two short browns , then banged a big smallmouth, three lakers lost some thing GOOD fish we never saw picked a 5+ # brown, boxed a thrid laker , lost a HUGE brown at the back of the boat and boxed another brown around 20" was in the weeds again so we just pulled last line and called it a day............... mix of spoons but UV was hot after the sun was hi today , 71' for the lakers and the last brown , 51' for the 5# brown , 61' for some small browns that big smallmouth and the huge brown ........all spoons , all rigger only three rods........lazy for sure !!!!!!! .......but it was fun.............. I'll get a picture or two up later.............. Ok here ya go.... the tie is a NAFC thing I'm hosting it for this month , when I got it out Ron looked at me like ...W DA heck is that ????? .....

Well thanks everyone , I finnaly got around to taking care of this. ( It was getting real hairy if it would start OR NOT ).........pulled started took to Barrett Marine.......Fran pulled it apart lots of gray dust came out , brushes were SHOT a long time ago said he had no idea how it even started............he cleaned it out and replaced the brushes , I picked up 6 plugs and 2 inline gas filters total $116.00...............a new starter is $340.00 + taxs.............. after a few issues putting it back on changed plugs and inline gas filter ( and replaced adjustment arm on carbs............someone broke one with a screw driver ) all back togather and ready to go............
-
I got back up today , took it off and ran it up to Barrets.....Fran tore it down clean it out and replaced the bushing.........got plugs and a iline gas filter that's on the side of the motor.......back at camp after second try got it back on motor gave it a quick turn over cranked GREAT......insatlled new plugs , change gas filter BUT scew driver slipped and broke plastic arm for carb syc....................back to Barrett talked with Fran how to adjust all three picked up extra link just in case I break one again when I change out gas filter...........back to camp followed Frans directions...................geeessshhh good thing I got the extra one because just loosing the scew on the lower one it also broke..........got them in fire up motor............it OK but still not a 100% start hard runs fine , shut it off , go to start it back up have to mess with gas to get it to keep running.....OH well been like this for a while I can live with it...................

Unless you have a change over in wind one side or the other should be WAY better weed wize....... ssw for a day west side should be GOOD But not around Long Point it will take a while to clear that area out on the north side kind of like a fan pattern as that wind passes the point it moves in, then comes a n or north west wind plugging up both sides on the first day then clearing out some of the east side , ...... I feel your pain it's gets at times , that's why when I fish alone I try to keep it as smiple as I can........but then I'm smiple anyway......
