I don't know what to tell ya about Seneca other than some times you just have to fine tune your spread and getting a skunk is always possible..............

These things keep poping off I though I put enough goob on them over the winter to solve the problem BUT today when it came off while pulling the rod out to fight a fish OVER THE SIDE it went...................so now I need a new end and a better way to KEEP THEM ON..................any ideas?????? Thanks guys , Out at 6ish this am fished west side north of yesterdays plan...........picked up 2 sub-legal bows a legal landlock a 22" lakers and a sub legal brown....wind changed pushed weeds into area so we work north then over too the east side......picked up a 22" rainbow and a 24" laker.......ran all spoons and just three riggers with all the weeds .......best down depth was 51'.............LOTS of dead bullhead , some good size perch , and some smallmouth ?????? Ran into the green/brown water again north of Long Point ????? Weeds bad in the area............. 7 for 7 for the day getting a bit better with 4 keepers today !!!!!!!!

Seneca 6-22 -23-24- ?? - 2012 On the water at 7:30 am went to west side just past the 600' hole and set up three riggers and three color core.........some what weedy ......worked into 100' or so and went north working the shoals , picked up a sub-legal bow.......made move out deeper and back south ....... picked up a sub-legal landlock.......... worked in less the 100' popped a sub-legal landlock then ran into a mine feild of weed pods......also that area most of the water in closer to shore was a brow/green color looked like what a small pond would after it worked just before summer ??????.........anyway ran back across lake a some what south set up and worked north ........nothing only weeds pulled lines at 2 ish and headed in for some food and out of the heat...........lake was set up on the west side but could not get a program going.........back on the east side my battery died on the X4 so not sure what was going on.......surface temp west side 70* no fleas yet !!!! More to come for the 23rd , 24th , and maybe the 25th......

I was using Sampo snap swivels #30 test in black , the snap would fail luckly while I was putting on or taking off a spoon..........found that the "black" color was done by acid eching (sp) .......and away I went to DW last year and all this year so far none have broke BUt they are not black..........

Seneca 6/13/2012 After all the NNW wind I decided to fish the east side solo , set up close with three lines in the water by 9:30 am ( a no clue start time ) went 1 for 3 within 30 minutes or so BUT the only one I landed was a 16" or 17" skinny landlock put back ( Hoot would of shot me , nevr ,never put the first fish back he always says.... )........so started south with wind at my back..............by 1:30pm I had changed 12 or so spoons out even put the X4 down. On a good note the weeds were NOT bad untill you got to a major point then you would run into some on both sides but nothing HUGE..............surface temp was 58* to 57* ..............I dropped probe down to 70' and found near 49* ..........so it's still not set up good yet............I had small marks with a few good sized ones here and there just could not get them to go............ Back out today (14th ) fished east side for a bit till the weeds got bad move out to the 600' hole then to the west side...........weeds not as bad over there the surface temp. is a good 8 to 9* higher..........had three releases got one two boat leanghts away and lost it.........not sure what it was sun was in me eyes.............so we ended up with a big Ole SKUNK today......... 6/15 - Carol and I gave it a go today not much better than the last two , may have to try a earlier start............went 1 for 2 one rainbow 17.5" in the brown sugar now !!!!!

Try one on the grill some time with Ken's Vidalia Onion dressing ( soak in it for 30 minutes at least ) the grill I leave the skin on.....sticks to the grill...........
