  4. That valve serves another very important purpose in the fuel system & that would be fire and/or an explosion should a fuel line rupture or leak in the bilge. If there should be a problem, always replace it with a new one.

  7. 1st pic is the speedo pick-up hose from the lower unit> not needed & ok plugged off 2nd pic > water will exit out the two holes you see in the picture
  8. 80w90 in both upper & lower. On the older Stringer (OMC) drives it is best to ck the upper for water contamination several times a season as well.

    Auto pilot

    The Spx-5r with the p70r control head would be a good choice on that boat.
  10. Disconnect the black/yellow stipe wire from the bullet connector on the switch box & ck for spark at the plugs. That will eliminate all kill wiring, switches ect.. Still no spark on either cyl. > the problem is most likely stator or switch box. Also ck all the bullet connectors on the switch box for corrosion aswell as the black ground wires that are under the screws that hold the switch box to the block.
