  1. Lower shift cable if I were to guess without seeing it Matt. Returned your pm too.
  2. Disconnect the cables at the box first to eliminate a frozen cable or another problem aft.

  5. Google some more there Mort. He already owns that, he's looking for a type of replacement cord that will work better than the original.
  6. Stiff length of wire with a hook to guide it in place, small light & a 3rd hand will do it. Make sure the grommet has some lube on it, hold the tube on the guide thats built into the top side of the housing & slide it up & on. Oh & make sure the lower shift shaft & upper shift splines are lined up in forward gear so you don't have to pull it apart 51 times.

  8. If any of you have I/O's that have been run this spring with all the good weather we had & there on a trailer. Make sure they're drained or other provisions to keep some heat in the engine compartment tonight. Predicted lows in the mid ta low twenties tonight could & would ruin yer day the next time you go to fire em up.

  13. Hair dryer/heat gun. Peel it off slowly & clean the residue off with WD-40 or acetone.

  17. As it is now with a 19p x 4000wo rpm's it's over propped. That 140 should turn 44-4600 at wide open throttle, trimmed with normal load. To answer your question a 17p will get you in the ball park on the high end & will slow your trolling speed at 650rpms. You should also be able to tweak that carb. down some to 500-550 with no problem & achieve what your after if the 17 doesn't quite get you down to where you want to be.
