If it;s a small pin hole or area to repair & the basic tank is sound it can be welded by the right person. I have a shop up here that does a good job on them for me.

Not a good thing Rod. And yes aluminum tanks will oxidize over time due to moister & or chemical in balances. Once you get it out & cleaned off some unless the leak is evident. Have a radiator or tank shop pressure it for you. As you said check the vent & fill hoses close for any dry rot as well & replace em.

Fish Mate down temp cable. The cable has a thermister woven in to it at the ball end. Without the head unit to it the cable is pretty much usless to ya.

Glad he made it ok. We had a very good friend here that was in the same predicament . But unfortunately the outcome was much different. Especially by yourself some sort of pfd is a must.

2.5 / 3.0L have fully adjustable individual rocker arms similar to a small block chevy. Pm or give me a call & I'll explain it further.

Cd box or coil or trigger or stator . Would be my guess's without putting a meter on it. If per say ignition is the problem? Start throwing around the $ for those parts by trying to self diagnose it yourself and you'll waste alot more than having it tested. Even if your going to do the work yourself.

Black with little white smilies work best. Any good black spray paint will work out ok. Couple of coats & good ta go. -
