  1. Foodsaver is a great unit and bags are relatively inexpensive an easy to come by. (Wal-Mart etc.) One word of advice tho. It you buy one off E-Bay altho you can get some good deal's on new one's there. Foodsaver will not honor there warranty on there product with a receipt from the seller from E-Bay. It has to be bought from one of there recognized retailers. I had a problem with one of the new one's I bought off there. Sent the warranty card in and all, and they wouldn't take care of it. Great unit's tho. Have several I've bought for family, friends and myself and they work great.
  2. Um must have been switched out before. Most were an in-line glass type holder.
  3. Vibration from the engine usually causes it with the standard glass fuse. It's a common problem. Replace it with a waterproof blade type fuse holder or put a 30 amp breaker in place of it. Why did you loose your d. r. because of that? Should of been hooked direct.

    Make SURE to ck the engine alignment after you reinstall the motor so you don't have a problem later. Also the stingers while the motor is out for rot etc. Make sure there solid and the lags aren't striped. Good price on it by the way.
  8. Good advice. Leave it loose enuff to here it ckicking out every now and then and when it stops runnin then do what you have to do with the drag with in reason.

  10. Dan You will be happy with the unit. Pretty much everything you need come;s with it. Installation is easy, but run a dedicated fused line from the battery to the unit. A lot of people make the mistake of running it or any other brand off an existing fuse block. That's where the problem's occur. Any problem's feel free to pm me or give Curt a call.
  11. #1 Did you have it hooked up directly to the battery or to a fuse block under the dash. #2 If not run a dedicated power line (fused) to the battery for the DR. And see what you have. #3 The people at DR are great for support and I'm sure they will get back to you asap.

  20. Tim: Sounds like you had a banner day. But why did you have coat's on yesterday?
  21. Port Bay outside of Wolcott. What's happening by running off the fuse box (panel) is your getting interference with everything running off the same power source. DR recommends a dedicated line as I said above to ovoid the problem. Also try not to run the coax from the rigger to the head to close to the transducer line from the depth finder ie. Wire tied together.
  22. Yep run a dedicated line directly to the battery with a fuse and you should be in good shape.
  23. Where did you run the power supply to the d r? Run a dedicated line directly to the battery and you should have no problems.
  24. 30 Big game all the way with floro leader this time of year. 15 until the flea's show up. Used flicker when it 1st. came out and as mentioned above nothing but problem's with it. Some use it with good results but most not. Cleanin the cabin out yesterday and I found a 3lb spool of it anybody want's it for free it's up for grab's, just come an pick it up.
  25. I would think about tradin in the other manual for a different model. Rigger I'm talkin.
