  1. Yes,..it is a complete system. Includes all mounting, installation and manuals
  2. I know that your looking at the X96 but thought I'd throw this at you. I have this Garmin 250DF for sale, ...$150.00, OBO. Comes with speed & temp. Just upgraded my FF & GPS and haven't made a post in the classifieds to sell the units yet. Screen shot isn't vary good but good enough to see what it looks like. The 4 streaks across the screen are the downrigger balls. The 2 lower ones are the inboard balls straight down from the transducer, hence stronger (thicker) signal.
  3. I have a Garmin 250DF for sale. Just haven't bothered to post it yet. Comes with speed & temp....$150.00 plus shipping if interested. Good unit, nice detail and if your an exhibitionist you'll be glad to know that it shows your balls real good  .

  5. I'm going to replace my fixed mount GPS with a new updated one and am considering the Garmin 530. Just looking for any input on this unit from anyone that has one. Are the preloaded maps any good? Any other opinions are appreciated.
  6. ...from all accounts of the rumors we've been hearing (& backed up by surveillance) it's funny stuff "on shore"
  7. Well it took long enough to figure out what RR was doing to win this derby. Chaos sent me all the surveillance data last night and this is how he does it. Keep in mind all this stuff about having a boat then not having one, then got another one, might not get it rigged in time,.. blah, blah, blah.....is just to throw us all off thinking that he is out of the running. Images of him and somethig to do with his dock.... http://fieldandstream.blogs.com/photos/ ... bber_2.gif
  8. `stix,.....PM in your box. no secrets split', promise
  9. Yes sir Spilt',....right on top of it. Everyone knows that the limit is 2 lines per person,..........and we all know I loose track of things real easy. That's why Chaos left his blowup dolls with me when he blew town this winter. Not sure why he left in such a hurry. Something about outstanding warrants by the DEC but he didn't have time to explain as he threw the dolls out the window heading south on 89. Still working a getting a crew together for the LOU-All. Right now I'm up to 6 rods. That's 2 for me and 2 each for Chaos's stand-in's, Wanna & Sugar.
  10.  ...who does that apply to :? ??
  11. Do you know if any rainbow's were entered? BTW, I'm a little disappointed that your name wasn't up in lights.
  12. .....and no end of the game reports either.. :? Nice job Split'
  13. Looks like that big boy was still ripe. What's dripping off Dan's right index finger?
  14. Now Split',...everyone knows a secret isn't a secret unless you tell someone  .
  15. Rollie....PM in your box
  16. I had to buy the transducer separately and got the transom mount. It looks like the prices have gone up since March (what hasn't  ). I think I would have liked the thru-hull `ducer but couldn't get any info on wether it show the `rigger balls or not. That feature is important to me but by the way this unit displays my balls ,`rigger balls that is ( ), I think it would show them even with the thru hull `ducer set a little forward on the hull.
  17. Here is a link to some good info. Check it out. I'm sure it will help you as much as it did me. As you'll read I ended up with the FCV-620. Had it out about 5 times now and am vary happy with it. http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishin ... ht=fcv+620 Happy shopping
  18. Boy.....I sure wish this spring derby would hurry up and get over. All this secrecy is really killing me . Pretty quiet out there  . No more reports. No more b@ll busting. No more razzing. No more bragging  . I can wait for Split' to spill his guts out when it's over so the rest of us can start catchin' instead of fishin' . Good luck to all in the Derby. Hope to see a couple LOU members win some prizes. I won't be fishing the derby. I'll be on the side lines waiting for some tips .
  19. come on split, everyone knows that a secret isn't any good unless you tell someone (me ). That's what secrets are for. Right Z?
  20. Nice job guys. I went out Saturday and was worse than skunked . Fished 4 hours and all I got was one of those snake fish like you have in your first picture. Guess I'm going back to fishing school  . Your getting lots of hits on your post. They must be like the fish I'm encountering,....lock jaw .
  21. Thanks Mark for setting us straight. That's what I like about LOU. Got a problem or question? It gets kicked around a bit and we all learn something. I guess if there is going to be a standard it's really not a standard till all or at least the majority in that industry participate in using it :? . Kinda like using the metric system in the USA  .
  22. I found this article off the Drudge Report. Thought I'd share it...... http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... .DTL&tsp=1
  23. Roger that, Musky. That one (on the South West side) has been closed at least 5 years now. Not one of the launches that I referred to in the above post.
  24. There are also two (3) launches in the canal at Sylvan Beach. One on the south/east side of the canal just before you go over the bridge and two on the north side. Skinners Harbor (or what ever name it is now) and a small single dirt launch just East of Skinners. They all have a launch fee and not sure what it costs now. The Indians own two of them and if they are only $10.00 you'll be lucky. BTW, Fish Creek runs off the canal up about a mile from the lake so if your planning on fishing there it would maybe be cheeper to launch at the canal rather than burn the gas to motor up from Marion Manor. Luck to all.
  25. Tom Hanks thanks you for your kindness. What did you do with him?
