    As stated above, we run them on both. If the kings are above 50 feet it usually is a spoon bite. If they are below 50 it is usually a combo bight for us. I do tend to have flasher flies on my dipsy though.

    I mounted four on my rig. If I only want to run three I can. If I want to run four I can. If one should break or something happens to one I can still run three.

    Brown trout bight as good last weekend. 80 to 110 feet of water off of Catfish. Lures 75 feet down to the bottom.

    Are you checking it at a marina? If so it might be coming from there shore power cables and not your boat. Check it off shore away from everything else.

    I find that the reports of boats with larger fish catches usually consist of a lot of smaller fish. I drive six to nine hours to get to the lake so I concentrate mostly on the larger fish. If I am catching fish below twelve pounds I tend to move away to find the larger fish. Sometimes they are just a little deeper. For a little more action in your spread you could add some free sliders for those smaller higher up fish. Just remember that a lot of these fish are lost due to the extended time of slack line as you reel the lower spoon up to the slider before the fish is tight to the rod. Good luck and tight lines.

    Saw a buck yesterday with only the start of a six point rack in full velvet. Maybe yours dropped early and started early. It was a strange spring.

    I am thinking there is a bad connection in the key switch. Should be easy to replace. Maybe some water got in there and corroded a connection or two and some how they are contacting each other.

    I am almost on Cape Cod and that is were my dad lives. It is a nine hour drive to the Niagara Bar where we fish every May (over 500 miles). I also fish Fair Haven and Mexico Bay several times a year.
