  1. Looks like it is down right now. http://www.oswegony.org/WEBCAM_harbor.html
  2. Sorry, I do not have any up to date infor for you. But, I would like to welcome you back to the lake and to the site. We have a lot of great guys here and I am sure some one has been out in that area. Again welcome aboard.
  3. On my depth raider I had an issue were it worked for like a minute and then went to no reading which is ---. The issue was the connection from the cable to the probe. Took that connection apart and reconnected with new and I was all set for the year. Thank you for reminding me. Another item to add to the list before I go to the bar in three weeks.
  4. just asking, but by any chance could you have it on upside down so the wheel is spinning backwards?
  5. 140 feet down over 250 feet of water somewhere between the bar and Wilson. White flasher with a twinky rig and a fake piece of cut bait. This was the Memorial day weekend two years ago.
  6. Welcome aboard. We have a lot of great people here.
  7. Atlantic's and Lakers have their own category an limits. One Atlantic over 25" and two Lakers but only one can be in the slot of 25" to 30"
  8. that was awesome. thank you.
  9. I do not use crimps. the chance of over crimping and damaging the wire is too high. I use the clincher to terminate my end. http://www.fish307.com/howtorigaspeedandtempprobeclincher.aspx Moor sells the set up with the hole already drilled out and the screw is included. their part number is 88-088-032 Hope this helps. Good luck and tight lines.
  10. I do well with Kings in May out at the Niagara Bar area.
  11. I agree hole heartedly with taking a charter out of the port of your choosing. Charter captains have many years of experience and know their ports very well. if you speak with the captain and let them know what you are looking for in help they usually are very susceptible. On the other hand you did not list the port you are having issues with. Summer fishing in Mexico Bay is on the opposite side of the coin from summer fishing at the Oak Orchard area. Good luck and tight lines.
  12. according to the website, a 25 foot boat trolling for walleye should have 48" bags. Keep in mind their bag sizes are not the diameter of the bag, it is measured flat. by my calculations a 48" bag should just over 30" in diameter. http://www.bigpapasportfishing.com/trolling_bags.htm good luck
  13. Like all above they both look great. #2 gets my vote as well but would take either of them. Wish I was in the Challenge.
  14. Looks great. Will have to place an order this weekend.
  15. I have been going to the Bar on the holiday weekend for the last twelve years. last year was the first year that was tough, the only reason was due to the wind. The one day we did get out, we boxed out with 18 to 24 pounders. With the current ice conditions on Erie, mid to the end of May should be best. I will be there again on the holiday weekend. Good luck with your decision.
  16. Happy Birthday Gary my friend. May you rest in peace. We miss you.
  17. My daughter's boyfriends first king while trolling lake O. 29 pounds.
  18. OK guys I need some help. Generally my fishing is fairly good. But when the wind kicks up and the waves get to be larger than say four feet my fishing falls way off. What do you guys do in large wave conditions to entice the bite. Richard
  19. Another 30 lb. Berkley big game here as well. Good luck and tight lines.
  20. I have seats I would get redone also but did not due to the cost. New seats for me are cheaper as well. I have two lounge seats. I picked up some seat covers from Overtons for a temporary fix.
  21. I chose a 400. This decision more depends on where you fish and more importantly were the fish are. I fish the Niagara Bar in the spring, Mexico Bay in July, and Fair Haven in August. My usual target depth is from 80 to 100 feet deep on the riggers. I did not want to fish below the fish so I chose to go with the 400. If I primarily fished the east side I would have gone with the 500. I am adding a 300 this year in anticipation of colder water in the spring for the Bar due to all the ice we have in the lakes. Good luck with your decision.
  22. Are we going to loose this great tournament?
  23. Just to clarify my original post. My weights are atomic's as well.
  24. I like the atomic torpedo weights or similar. They track great and have less blow back than most. I have an eight foot wide boat with four riggers. I have never had a tangle of cables like I have heard with other style weights. This is a personal preference type of question and you are going to get many different answers. Good luck and tight lines
  25. Can any one help? Otherwise we could loose one of the East end tournaments. I really love this tournament but a lot of help is needed and so few have done it for so many years. I hope some one can step forward.
