  1. RR, We were going to work your spots also, but decided to head south and play with the Browns. Splitshot115
  2. Fished the southend Fri, Sat, Sun, Friday fished from 6:30 am till about 9:00 am 2 for 5 both browns 8.5 and 6.5 lbs, one of the 3 missed was larger,( broke line) didn't check leader . Saturday fished from 6:30am til around 10am with a break to tow a carver back to the marina. we did 6 3 to 4 lb browns in this time missed a few more. Sunday the water was 5 degrees warmer t6han the day before. Did 1 brown farther up the east shore where the water wasn't so warm, went farther south and turned and headed back and called it a day spent a little over an hour out Sunday. Took the day off Monday. All fish caught on riggers and spoons and on planer boards with sticks. Splitshot115

  5. All I've ever got were the smaller ones, but I would think there are some good ones in there. Splitshot115
  6. jennings, You're right, then look at some of the other years, not many but a few, that 10.4 laker would take home the top prize. Last year you would have to done better than 11.11 for 5th. I see that the biggest winning laker was 17.13 in 1969 and a 17.36 brown took the honors in 1998. You never know. Splitshot115
  7. Congrats to Chowder and Eliott, as Eliott won the Annual Spring Derby with Dad coming in 2nd or 3rd in the Laker division. Alot of nice browns were brought to the scales. the top brown came in at 11 and change to win the lunker award. Andy, I hope it don't rain next year Splitshot115 We also had plenty of door prizes that were donated by Dave at R&R spoons that were well recieved.

  10. He always tries to schedule it after the LOC and before the Nat. Lake Trout derby, so that doesn't leave a very big window. Will try to talk him into bringing back his lake trout only derby in August. We'll have to do something to replace the Salvation Army derby. Splitshot115

  14. Doing the Cayuga derby this weekend, don't know about next weekend yet, might fish a day with Playin Hookey, can't miss his boat 21ft Trophy with name on both sides in BIG letters. He will be at Sampson also. Splitshot115

  23. This is the post that should have went to the top. This years date is July 18th, let's hope that RR can make this one cause he's not going to hold on to the cup 3 years in a row.
