  1. Great news Zeke, keep a handle on it and we'll see you on the water more often this year. Let the fish and RR beware, Strike Three's out to get his name on this year's cup.

Vince, the name of the other place is Flaming River Gorge. I've been trying to get in touch with George for the last week, will try again tomorrow. If you want to fish your always welcome on my boat.

Also, there will be no need to buy kid's trophys we still have the ones from last year that Traveling Man sprung for. I'll get new plates for them this year.

May this year put many fish in the box ;)

  2. If I'm steppin on any toes feel free to speak-up. How about the dates

of Aug 2nd or 9th for this years LOU-ALL. Those 2 dates fall between the LOC Summer and Fall derbies. I'll get things rolling if no one

    else wants to step up.

It would be no problem to hold this at Meyer's. One thing I would like to see changed is the point system, I vote that we go by 1 man's limit total weight. Hopefully Vince can get back for this!

Just remember:: The RUSTY RAT will be back to try and defend his title in his new ride :!: :!:

  3. This year I've seen more bait on Cayuga than I've seen in the past five to seven years. Had a week in August that was filled with small lakers,

every morning for about 4 or 5 days I caught 10 to 15 lakers that were about 14 or 15 inches long with no fin clips. We also picked up some real nice browns throughout the year and a few nice bows late in the year.

Also got to fish with and meet alot of people from this board. Looking

forward to taking the LOU-ALL trophy off Rusty Rat's hands next year  . Stix nice to hear from you again you've been pretty quiet, too much work?

All in all a pretty good year.

    ;) Think Spring ;)

  4. Bigfoot,

Thanks for the report, I also think most of the lakers in Owasco are on the small side with the exception of an occasional large one thrown in for good measure. There are some nice browns and the Walleyes seem to be doing well when you can find them.

    Thanks again for the report.

  5. Mark,

I agree that rec boats should be posted as long as the names are non-offensive. As some of the others stated, it's not the money it's the pride

of getting on the board of one of the premier derbies on the great lakes.

When it's all said and done there are probably more rec boats that fish the LOC than charters. Pride and business comes into play for the Charters, get your name on the board a few times and I'm sure your business will show the rewards.

  6. Mower,

I don't make reports on the board anymore, cause by the time I get back to the tube my reports are a few days old, but if somebody wants info

I'll PM them or give it to them over the cell. We could use a site for reports like the one in the big lake section, that would cut down on some of the lurkers who fish for info but never give back. Have never ran into you and

I'm right next door in Meyers. Would have gladly shared info with you.

Anybody who knows me knows that I'll give up any info I have to help

a fellow fisherperson, even if it's derby time. I'm sure I'm not the only

    one works this way.

    Till next season
