Anyone been out of Sandy? I'm Headed out Sunday and lookin for a good place to start, Thinking Ill hit mouth and work out deeper as sun comes up.

I"ll be out Saturday afternoon ,Sunday morning, probably Sunday night oh and most likely all Monday. I guess I"ll be out most of the weekend . Just look for the Green Trophy washing lures.

I just got the 2002, this season and love it, set up for the lake. You get one you will love it. It is designed for fishing with all the cool option on it.

well it looks like no temp probe fo me. Talk to the manufacture several times and it seems some newer inboard mercs give off rf wich causes the probe to not work so good.

I installed the new depth raider and it only reads down 50 ft. I rubber taped all open wire? The only way it reads deeper is if I grab the spooled wire in the down rigger, is it because rigger is all metel including the arm? I will be calling thier help line tomorrow, just wondering if any one else had this problem? :?

Seems like sandy creek drop about that to, Hamlin that is. The lake flipped as well. Glad I took off to fish next week ,and not this week. Low water level means I dont get as wet fix my dock

Thanks , My nieghbor gave me one to try. The scottys are the ones I use and they cut through coating. Ill do some experimenting this weekend and figure things out. Thanks for your input and offer

How do you stack on a coated line with out rubbing off the coating, put tape on were you clip stacked line? Also will it matter if you use a coat down rigger ball or not , as to the performance of the raider? Any helpful ideas will be appreciated as usaul. Thanks ahead of time.

What are the minimuim wieghts for the LOC?

In the fall do salmon stage east or west of the rivers / streams :? . I always believed they stage east in the outflow and wait for the temp to drop so they can move up stream. Any thoughts?

Headed out 6 am stopped at 150 fow marked bait messed around there for and hour or so , nothin. Went out deep 450 fow ( tip from Charlie aka king salmon}. Set up 40 - 50 down and lost one big boy on black white bloodie nose, then got one 10 lb king in ,same lure Lost another then landed 10 lb steelie and a 7 lb steelie. Ended up 3 for 6.Only out deep for 2 hours. Best colors black white green and wonder bread.

Any of you guys that use this, is it important to us the coated cable?

I stayed at the Oak last night {great people down there) and fished a little there in the morning, marked alot of bait and hooks east of the wall 100 fow but only one knock off. Went out off Sandy in the evening, after a swim, running only 2 rods didnt mark much but had a screamer on for about 25 minutes before getting him in the boat solo, a what good fun. he was a 25 lb king 100 fow down 45 on black white mag. Got a small steelie same area. Great day on the lake. Thats about it.

I dont eat fish so I dont keep any just a photo. I do keep them if the other folks I take out want them.

My old dock has been destroyed ,now my insurance will buy me a new one anyone know of a quality dock installer guys :?: ?

I think I have a name for the new boat, witch I picked up on St Patricks day in a snow storm, and after you see this picture the name really came to me. The neighbor said the tree was headed right for the boat and suddenly changed direction and landed on the wifes jet skii and the old dock, couldnt have planned that any better , not event a scratch on her. If there is a fishing god he was watchin over my boat today.

I was out also with Remi, she found a bunch off browns right out in front in 54 fow, they hit the yellows and purples and greens down 40 going west lots of hook ups nothin over 10#. Moved out to 85- 90 fow were Remi directed me to a 18# king. That dog is useless on the net but she sure can find fish. Pritty good day for running only 2 rods, king came lemon ice with green latter back if I remeber correctly. We ll be out tomorrow with a few more rods, I mean guests

Has anyone noticed that in the past couple years the NK paint comes off the spoons after a couple fish hook ups, seems like they changed thier paint or some thing? When I first started using them I went with them because the paint wouldnt come off like other brands. :?:

I was out there just west of creek same results mixed bag but nothing over 10lbs.. Best depth 100 -125 fow down 75, best colors were the usuall green, purple and yellow, best lure was a purple thunder,with yellow ladder on it and red eye. Great day to be out on the water and be an American, Happy 4th July

I have always used acid to clean the green nastyness off the boat hull, Has any one used a power washer or other trick that may work better than acid? Thanks in advance of any help rendered.

Went out 6-26 nigth bite fished 100 fow dow 60 ish 2 for three both small one lemon ice and one on glow frog on southeast troll. Went out for a few hour in morn 6-27 125 fow down 66 lemon ice small steelie and same area( just east of creek) purple NK mag with black ladder got a psychotic 9 lb king, he tried unsucessfully to cut across all the lines. seemed like their was alot of current down deep, judging the different angles of the rigger line. Took the boat out for the mid summer cleaning and it will be back in Friday night for more fishing, as Im off all next week weeooo.
