  1. We were out there as well, we lost three fish, a rod holder and had a reel fail. Not a very good shack down trip but still nice to be out. Ya it sucked for us as well.
  2. I know the Accudepth 47 is the cheaper Daiwa model but has anyone had issues with the line feeder sticking and loading up the line on one side of the reel? If so whats the fix ? Thinking of adding a rubber washer to each end so when it gets to the side it will be forced back the other way, or just buy another Okuma
  3. The ice is out at Sandy creek Hamlin have at them guys
  4. There goes the short cut from Black North to Brownberry patch for ice cream It will Let bigger boats go farther up the Oak.
  5. I want to know what ur favorite spoon brand is, I like the NKs but the paint peals off within a season. Could be due to the amount of use they get. What do you think is the longest lasting and best producing brand, not color or size just the brand?
  6. WEEEOOO pm sent, thanks ITO! pm sent
  7. If you want a bigger screen go with one of the android phones many diffrent sizes and brands, if you want good battery life and bullet proof softwear go with Ipone. They are both great, the Iphones have thier own mini market for accessories , the android phones are fast and have many more free apps. The iphone4s cost $199 you can get android phones from free to $299. I would go to Radio Shack if you do get one, no mail in rebates and they just started free phone support for anyone who buys a phone from them, based in Washington with english speaking representives.
  8. Sorry about ur pup Ray, Gill-T is right my current fishing buddy "Remedy" Remi for short got her name from the loss of my last fishing buddy Slash both dogs are/were loyal as the day is long.
  9. Man that is the biggest spoon I have ever seen.
  10. I got skunked out front also. Really good screen but no takers. [ Post made via Android ]
  11. Probably shouldnt have gone out so soon after a storm passed over sandy creek this morning. My antenna and rods started crackling, we immediately dropped the antenna and laid the nets down. Anyone else out in front of Sandy creek have this happen this morning. Think we dodged a very "enlightning" experience.
  12. I will usually do the opposite, run the bottom lure shorter to draw the fish up into the stacked lure above. This helps keep a tangle on the descent, from a longer bottom leader. That being said I will do the opposit the next time out if im not getting any action. Some times a good idea is to run a muppet rig two hot identical colored spoons one being a mag. I think the slider is a great tip as well. If we are lucky will be able to have 3 rods soon.
  13. I agree that wieght on the bow works well (say ur dog), Seems to work for me, and my dog loves it up thier.
  14. I have had a 17 cc great boat as long as its not choppy and windy especially in early spring. Moved up to Trophy 2052 walk around , much more comfort and storage. Although i really miss my cc on these nice summer days.
  15. I had same problem a few years ago , couldnt get it to work on my 04 2052 trophy 4.3 . Tried everything I ended up giving up after a week of frustration and returned it. I figure the only one that will work for me is a fish hawk because it doesnt rely one the info to travel up a coated cable.
  16. We fish just west of you for a few hours, our one fish was this 10lb brown.
  17. Thanks for the report. Hope to get out tonigh. [ Post made via Android ]

  19. Great looking fish, perfect color
  20. Fished 3 hours Sunday found a boat load of lakers 60-70 fow they hit nbks and glow froggs. Did one small dink king. All fish came down 45 to 60 of riggers. I think we were 6 for 8 with two doubles. Went out into the fogg Memeorialday it took and hour to find the same spot due to the fog. I felt as if i was playing a video game as i watched my gps as my dog Remi watched for boats in front of me. She did a good job as she started growling at the fog and out of the soup comes a boat trolling right at me less that 30 yards. We found the lakers had moved into 50fow. We did a double and finished with a 12.5 lb slim ball. Need some west wind to get thing set up so we can start takeing some kings.
