Thank you sir. -
If you look close you will see in third picture the eggs bring sprayed all over the back of my boat.
-
Hope full you see pictures??? Of a few fishies caught spring 2009 so far.
-
Anyone know when and if the Northern King will have another open house/ sale this spring like they did the past couple years?
-
Fished 7- 10 am out front 8-10 fow west side of the creek, good pockets of colored water at about 44 deg. 3 steelies all taken with the usual orange, chatruse, stickbaits and rapalas. The steel head must still be spawning as one let her load all over the back of the boat. 5 times out and fish every time sure seems to be a pritty good start so far, especially as I read thier are kings being take in this part of the lake already.

Free slide located on the dock at the sandy creek launch. Keep it for yourself or give it to someone as a present, it appears to have had a lot ofgood use out of it.

30 lber at Sandy
FISHBANDIT replied to FISHBANDIT's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
I left it on the floating dock at the sandy creek launch , if you want to take a gander, or get your picture taken with it. -
I was trollin out to lake and right next to Legacys boat I hooked into a beast it was way to big for the net. After a biblical battle we were able to get our hands on it and in the boat. The thing was like 4- 5 foot long , I dont eat that kind, so I left it up at the launch for some one else to enjoy. I wonder what the record is for red plastic slides anyway .

Ya thanks for the info figured it would be ok. Just makes me feel better knowing its been done with out worring about any flying boats.

Hauling 12 foot boat in a 6 ft bed truck good idea or not 2hour ride? Looks like about 4ft will hang off the back. Will I have any problems on the throughway?
-
Fished out front 10 fow the usual bait. Trolled for hour and half nothing , let out the lead on one poles and extra 50 and fish on in 5 minutes, let another out, fish on and off, then tangled lines. After that it was getting dark, and I dont like being out on lake this time of year with all the crap floating around out there. If anyone goes out of Sandy creek be careful there is a dead head below surface East side of the channel about in front of Legacys boat. We tried to find it when we came in but it got to dark to see into the water. If I get a chance Ill pull it out tomorrow if I get home early enough.

Got out after work we did 2 fish in 2 hours, 5 to 6-lbs. 10 fow both side of the creek 40 -41 deg water temp. the wind switched out of the NNE and the temp dropped into the 30s even as I moved into 6-7 fow couldnt find and good water. The 2 browns came of chartrose and orange baits off the boards. Another great night on the water 2 trips, fish both times mmmm how long will this streak continue. I was the only boat out there, Im sure this will change soon, but it was nice .

Lowrance or Humminbird?? GPS/Sonar combo
FISHBANDIT replied to BP Swing's topic in Open Lake Discussion
I would do 2 seperate unites I find the Lowrance is a good GPS and the Humming birds are good Sonar for the money. If you have 2 seperate unites you wont have to split the screen and sacrifice screen size. -
I went by the launch and the docks are in. I fish hour half got on 9lb brown. good color out front, low 40s for temp in the color out to 15 fow. fish hit orange rapala j-7 1o fow Aaaaa it good to be out on the lake agian

Got home from work put some gear in the boat grabbed the dog, got about and hour and half of fishnig in. Got one nice brown 9lbs give ur take on a j-7 orange Repala of inline board back 50 out 120 , 2 split shots , east of the creek 10 fow. Lots of good colored water out in front of Sandy creek, temp in low 40s out to about 15fow. Sure felt good to be out there and catch a fish to boot If the wheather is good should be able to get out there Sunday and try the new improved "Bandit boards" I tweeked over the winter.

The one off rochester gets pulled every year and should be redeployed soon, so we will get good data soon.

I held the church and the mini yellow bird in each hand and figure the yellow bird would have less resistance when fighting a fish. Also since I only need one yellow bird to replace the one I broke, it ment more money for other tackle. Dont like using the inlines much, only if im out alone or one other guy anyway. Put a fresh coat of glossy orange paint on the home made boards , tweeked the homemade planner masts. Now just got to wait for the weather to break , then fishing finally. Thanks for all the input.

Which inline boards track out the furthes, talking about the small ones. I broke one of my yellow bird and was thinking of switchin to church.
-
Bet ya cant wait to get that out on the lake. Very nice ride.

Ya its probably ok its a 2004 Merc and it looks like it lines up perfectly when its down. I dont see how the hose could strech out if it was hooked up any way. The only thing that throws me is there is a hose clamp on the loose end. I ll leave it. Thanks for the feed back.
-
My exhaust tub came loose from out drive were it clamps to outdrive. How important is it to reconnect it as it is impossible to get my finger in to tighten the hose clamp that came loose? When the out drive is down it lines up perfectly but no room to tighten it. It looks like I would have to take appart alot to get room to get in there to fix it, any suggestion? Or should I just leave it, maybe it was like this last year and I just didnt realize it.
