    Size matters!!! Baitfish are differant sizes in the spring than in the fall. The bait that hatched out in the spring are just getting interesting to the Salmon and Trout in the fall on the fingerlakes. So the smaller spoons work well then. In the Spring I like the bigger baits, because the bait is bigger . Match the hatch just like the Fly guys.

    R&R has great UV colors and clearcoat I like the orange and the magenta shad on Cayuga. Both in the razor and the superlite sizes.

    Put a two color core on the 27 with power pro backing. Swap the reels with another rod when you want to use it as a SWR or a shallow rig.

    Mount a track system , with backing plates underthe rail. The track would stick into the boat a little. Check on the Berts or Tracltex sites they may be able to help you.

    The Losta one is a good road trip, get a couple of buddies to chip in for gas and such.

    The Elosta fleamarket will be at a sportsman's club on the southshore of onieda lake. The fingerlakes one is at the very south end of Seneca lake at a community center/ roller rink there.

    Not sure about lakers , I expect they eat anything, but Browns and Landlockes love small perch. Esp. when the alwifes have gone deep.

    saw horse brackets make a nice frame to hold the tarp up so snow slides off.. Just make a "big saw horse" to set in the bottom of the boat.
