  13. 99+s and 1- Those are a pretty good percentages I haven't fished it yet, there always seems to be something going on that I can't control that weekend. Hoping to get in one someday. Always enjoy stopping in to Jon's and reading the sign on the way to the launch!!
  14. Welcome out of the lurk. Most people here are more than willing to help you with your fishing!!!
  15. I am with Glen, except I like the Fish DR. 7' roller rods. They use better guides that won't let the wire get behind the roller and tip. They are light enough for the smaller fish on the fingerlakes . They will handle kings great. One piece blanks.
  16. Get hits on the copper, but the landing rate isn't to good for me I wonder if its the give of the rod when they hit and not hitting against a release.
  17. Can't be to much longer than the rod , or you will have a time trying net a fish on it.
  18. Launch at Myres at the crack of 8:00 Trolled north in the 80 to 120' range. Caught a bunch of nice lakers and LL's . Stinger and dreamweavers ss in gator and dirty white boy were the hero's .. Dipsies out 210 and 180 and riggers at 70' and 50'. Kept a couple of lakers in the 5# range and one LL about the same.
  19. Do you get ice fishing rods if you poke a hole in one? The seven foot rods are one piece so you don't need them , the lighter rods are 9' and two piece and I slide them over those after taking the rods apart. Keeps them from braiding them selfs together They don't fit like they do on the bass rods, but it works for me.
  20. The coyote that I have seen in Arz. are half the size of the ones I have seen around here. They are as big as a german shepard!!
  21. Hey Rich, I run 50lb from dipsey to spinny, the bite off was just above the treble, probably that 40lber [ Post made via Android ] Fill the gap at the rear of the treble with some scrap line , tie it to a hook and weave it inand out to fill the gap. Tie it off to the hook. No more "bite offs"
  22. One guy I knew used to use a duck decoy for his jug.
