  1. There is a red one with a mirage fly and a chrome dipsie off Catfish in 60' of water
  2. Great lakes Angler did a story about King fishing down 400' I know guys off Owsego are using 20# shark weights to get down that deep.
  3. We ran 20 on oneside and 30 on the other when we first got into wire. Caught more and more hits on the 30# than the 20. Swapped sides , lures etc. Harmonics maybe?? But thats what we had on my boat.
  4. It only effects the Spelling part of the brain.!!!! Like Ray says the way they are cleaned helps alot. The standreds are for the whole fish, because of all the different cultures. Some cultures use the whole fish , others clean them to suit. I recomend Dinosaur BBQ Mijhto sauce. Soak the fillet in it over night and grill the next day
  5. They did my drop curtian on my hardtop, very happy with their work!!!!
  6. You by a trailer!!! another boat to tow around with the tackle in it
  7. Hi My name is Tim and I'm a tackle addict. Welcome Tim you have taken the first step !!!!
  8. Its not that you should get a radio, Its that you NEED a vhf radio. Cell phones don't work as good as you would think out on the lake . You might need help. That you can get with a radio.

    Stereo

The dampness in the boat may bother the speaker elements.
  13. Goodtime, nice to see everyone!!!! Nice hat Hank
  14. Spro makes a good one with the cross lock type snap. You don't want the ones with the brass plate on them.
  15. Some sand for the ramp might not be a bad idea too!!
  16. We usually fish two in the boat with two riggers and two wire dipsies. This rule gives us the option to play with a copper or a leadcore if we want too. I remember a guy getting busted for having a lure draging next to the boat to check its action giving him one to many rods in the water. Even though it would probably never have been hit. I like the 3 rod rule.
  17. Spoon rods I have a couple of diamondbacks and the fish 307 rods they give out at the pro-ams. All light action 9' ers . Flasher and flies off the riggers I use my fish dr. 7' I use on Ontario.
  18. I like to use the nylon filiment tape that used for packing. I tie the wire to the spool than put the tape across the length of the spool. The wire can't spin with the wire tightly wound over the filiments. Tuna Tom puts a peg in the spool when he updated my diawia 27's and 47's Haven't had any problens with them of coarse
  19. Make sure tha pattern matches the boat
  20. Couple of clear shower curtians and some clamps. Not pretty , but will stop the breeze.
  21. Fishing Resource Links on the side bar has lake map in it . It gives you a rough idea of the bottom at the bar. You also can fish the river if its to rough to go out into the lake. The nigaria river anglers site has details on that. Four mile state park is a good campground, Its 4 mi from the fort launch , or its not that far to the state launch in Wilson.
  22. Skipper makes a good point not all spoons will run together. They all have sweet spots. Thin spoons can be run slowly , heavier spoons like an NK can't run right at sutton speeds. Use the smallest snaps that you can. That sure changes the way a spoon works. A small stinger sure can't dance with a snap the size of a rigger snap hooked to its nose. Try to match the hatch , if all the bait is small, the smaller spoons may work better than a mag size will.
  23. Check the LOU calander so you have the max amout of people open to come to it!!
